I was wondering if someone could help me determine why my mustang won't even try to turn over. No previous problems before but I press the start button and just nothing. With the message popping up press clutch to start.

I had the battery tested yesterday and it had plenty of amps. So I got under the clutch and say that it seemed there was a sensor hanging unplugged but I'm not sure if that's for a push to start vehicle or thats my problem. But once I hooked it in I heard a loud electric sound.

And the first time I try to start the car again after plugging that in my car says system off the save battery. So I dunno if maybe I tried to start it too many times before and killed the battery or what.

Here's a picture of the loose wire. Can anyone tell me if that is definitely needed and not for remote start or something.

I'm not exactly sure what your original issue is with not starting, however I have killed many batteries diagnosing cars that didn't start. It's extremely common to run the battery down while testing and that's what your message says. I'm pretty sure that pops up when the battery is too low to start the car

You should pick up a battery charger or if you have another car, try to jump start it after letting it charge for a while.

Also I've had plenty of bad batteries that have tested "fine". I actually just had to replace a "good" battery last week
