That does not surprise me. The setup we did on Tony's car ended up running around $3200. That was with me eating about half the labor I actually had in it too. When you look at that cost versus what you can purchase a factory R trans and cooler components it makes it hard to go into production with something that isn't cost competitive. I will say though that the thermostatically controlled setup is a better option than the longer warm up times that R setup would have, especially for those of you that primarily street drive. We were also able to fit a slightly larger cooler core than what the factory R cars had as well.My contact at SA told me they stopped R&D on it and will most likely not be making one. hope its not true. :frusty:
