I’m looking at getting an Hpipe resonator delete on my 2018 mustang gt. I’ve seen some for $150 and a Roush Hpipe for 300, my question is am I just paying for the name with the $300 Roush pipe or is it the quality I'm paying for? Thank you in advance.

?? How will we know?
Call both manufacturers as ask for the materials specifications… what type of metal, wall thickness, type of clamps… etc

Depends. Some use aluminized steel which will rust. Then there’s 409 and 304 stainless. Typically the more expensive resonator deletes are using 304 stainless. 409 is in the middle of 304 and aluminized.

Go with something made of 304 stainless. For $300, you ARE paying for the Roush name...and I'm not even sure they make one for the GT350. I only see listings for Mustang GT (5.0L Coyote).

If/when I do this, I will most likely go with Steeda:

The Steeda res deletes are quality stuff. The guy I took mine to for install said it’s one of the best aftermarket res deletes he’s seen. And he’s been doing exhaust work, including custom builds, for 40+ years. He did say the clamps weren’t the greatest (on the thin side) so he welded mine on instead.

I've got that Roush H-pipe, it sounds good. I took it off after about 200 miles or so and sold the car so if you're interested in a "slightly used but like new" res delete, let me know. I also have a Roush cat-back with x-pipe I need to sell. It's not doing anyone any good in storage.

Ps. I think you posted in the wrong forum.
