Pulled my seats, belts, mounts, etc today. Will be installing the FP delete kit.

Any reason I can't just duct tape over the holes left from removal instead of putting the OEM bolts back in?

I like to disassemble things.
Why wouldn't you put the bolts back in?

Weight. Bolts > tape. Unless there is something else under the sheet metal the bolts are securing why put them back?

Wouldn’t you have a better seal with the bolts back in and a bit of sealant on the threads? Or even nylon bolts or plastic plugs if you want to save weight?

To me, duct tape belongs in other peoples cars.

Would the car be exposed to the elements if you don't put the bolts back in? That would be my concern...

Your car man, but if you're that concerned about weight, why install the seat delete instead of just taking the seats out?

Thanks gents. It won't be driven in inclement weather so no worries there.

I'll look into nylon/plug pieces. Much appreciated.
