I just got off the phone with Lokar. He said that this was not released for sale just yet. It was actually being built for retro mod cars swapping in the 10r80 to vintage cars. It also has a funnel adapter so you can put transmission fluid in through the dipstick tube. I will be checking back to see when it's available.

Careful on stock Mustang application with heat from the catalytic converter so close to the fill port.

Keep us posted if it can fit then a heat shield can be fab to block the heat without too much trouble.

Called lokar back & they said the same thing to me again. Told me they just saw them on their website & not for sale yet. So I found the b&m on ebay for $35. The part number is the 22200 just like the b&m but doesn't have their logo on it. So I'm waiting on it. I did check the fluid level & running cold it doesn't touch the stick!

Got the dipstick in today. I will be getting some black ties to replace the white ones.

The price is good but yikes that is close to the cat. Keep us informed on long term. Was it easy to install?

Install wasn't too bad. Hardest part was getting the fitting started between the adapter that screws into the transmission & the tube. The dipstick is just a little shorter than the factory one. Engine running & cold fluid it touches the end of the stick. At temperature it is up the stick of course the same distance up on the factory stick. After setting all night engine not running the level is right at the top of the flat area which should be the top of the measurement area. Also I have a 12v pump with semi rigid plastic tube that goes through the dipstick tube to the bottom of the pan for sucking out & putting fluid back in.
