Isn’t 0-100-0 straight line?
Yes, however the carbon fiber track pack car will be slower over 100mph do to downforce.
Before then, the weight advantage of the carbon fiber track pack car will more then make up for it.
Carbon fiber wheels will be the biggest difference.

Two people who are close to the GT500 are stating that 10.8 1/4 mile runs have been made.
One of them stated a 10.6 run was done early on.......take it for what it is.

I've also heard of a 10.31 run very early on........

IF that 10.31 run is true, maybe it was done in colder air in early spring. But 10.6-10.8 is what I have been expecting it will run so very soon we will know.

I think one benefit of the new C8 Vette is Ford is going to have to work a little harder now to keep buyers interest in the GT500 going. Hopefully, Ford Performance will actually share more performance numbers done by a professional driver instead of letting the media journalists and YouTubers try to figure it out. The 0-100-0 time is impressive!

I dont know the Zr1 is faster now and with ADMs on the 500 will be similar priced after the C8 tanks their value?
IF the C8 really does 2.8 0 to 60 is it a stretch especially to say in non boosted form if it gets to 60, 7 tenths faster...that it can get to 100 and back to 0 quicker? Actually not having the blower would.help it in this test IF the 2.8 is accurate, however would still be slower in 1/4 just not enough power after what 80mph or so to keep up with a hooked up GT500? Still if the C8 is close in 0 to 100 to 0 ( and it has to be with a 2.8 O to 60 lead) then runs low 11s to the supercharged high 10s...for 65k.....eeeek..
If Chevy keeps the price under control adding a blower it's a death nail...so far we are comparing max effort to NA...

If your a Ford fan boy thank God for the C8 it single handedly wiped out your ADMs

My fingers are crossed that the C8 performs and keeps GT500 prices in check so that more Ford fans like myself can get one at a reasonable price. I like my Z06 but I bleed Ford blue and look forward to getting back into a GT500.
