They will have similar performance

Both will be able to dial up boost for more power.

Annnnnd first comment....looking like a Fusion Coupe....First thing I noticed...man the panel alignment is really bad on that white EB...

Good review. Looks like he likes the V6 and would recommend the Camaro and not the Mustang if you watch to the end.

I'm glad he brought up the quality stuff. The panel alignment and some materials/short cuts shouldn't be happening on a $30K car.

I agree with the panel alignment issues. I had to fix my hood, pinched in the middle from factory. But, it wasn't too hard.

I think the EB has much more potential than the V6 Camaro. But, stock, the Camaro has the edge. Then again, I couldn't own one, I hate the visibility from inside one.

Yah visibility seems to be an issue but again after a bunch have owned theirs they say they've adapted. I think having a sun roof would help a lot in terms of 'opening' it up on the inside in terms of feeling 'tight'. Sat in a few cars at the DC auto show and have to say a lot of sports cars feel tight inside.

But even if you put in the potential for the EB, I don't think it's going to handle or deliver like the Camaro can on the alpha platform. I keep seeing in these review videos that the Camaro V6 handles like a M series or high end sports car and is light and nimble. You don't hear that ever out of any EB review, even with the PP. Even the guy in the review above said after driving the Challenger and Mustang it feels like you're driving a tank. Which is funny because the tank view is in the Camaro lol.

I was at Jerry's Ford over the weekend looking at the Stang on the lot (they had about 20+) and almost every one had 1 panel issue...some had 2-3...some were bad. I don't understand how these cars are getting off QC. It's really unacceptable.

By pinched in the middle, do you mean the middle of the hood sits below the top of the bumper cover? If so, how'd you fix it? Mines the same way and I tried adjusting the rubber stops on each side but that didn't do much.

Yes, that was the issue. I fixed mine by adjusting the rubber stops. However, if yours is worse, you can move the entire latch mechanism up a tad. You will have to remove the plastic screws and plastic cover. However, that's not too hard.

Spartan, I think the EB handles great. Specially with the light nose vs the GT. There are a ton of good reviews on it's handling... If anything this is remarked on by almost everyone comparing it to the GT.

I haven't driven the new Camaro, but it's only slightly lighter. Anyone have skid-pad or slalom numbers?

Keep in mind that you are comparing a boosted inline four to a NA v6 camaro. A turbo charger or a supercharger on that v6 might even put it above the gt. The car weight 3339 lbs and with a turbo or a supercharger probably around 3400+ lbs, now also add the 1le package to it, then we have something pretty amazing!

i would bet that a 1LE V6 would give a non PP GT fits on a track. Not saying it would be faster, but I think it would be very close.

Nope, not even a nissan 370 nizmo with its glorious high revving 350 hp engine can't keep up with the gtpp on the track, how do u expect the v6 camaro has a chance?

Ohh you said non so yeah maybe. How do u like your camaro? I had a 2012 2ss/rs before the s550! I also test drove the manual new ss and it felt similar to my gtpp. They shrinked the camaro though, the inside felt pretty cramped. The old one was not that bad and you can get use to the blind spots but man this new one felt so tight!

It's not a sedan on the inside. But the drive of the car is just amazing. Very very similar to a C7.

The Camaro hood looks like a Toilet Lid

See attached. Anyway, I think they should have made the body of the car look like a commode to finish the look. It would be an improvement.

Camaro owners could get a Retro 70's look by placing a giant toilet lid shag carpet over the hood.

People who think the hood looks like a toilet lid has zero imagination! Toilet lids don't have curved up sides! They are completely flat or curved down! It looks more like a stingray or a manta ray than a toilet lid!
