Hello all, My name is Glenn, I am an american who has been living in Germany for the last 14 years.
I have never owned an American car, I used to look down on them for thier looks (Subjective I know) Quality, and generally low tech engines. My first performance car was a 1993 Nissan Skyline I bought in 04 and brought to Germany,
Here are some Pics of me on the track, some of you may recognize which track it is.
And a trip to Amsterdam, did not go so well
Only reason I was still smiling is because I was "Happy"
It was among the best cars ever made for the Autobahn and Track
My car collection grew as I got promoted and made more money
Bought this in England because i was used to right hand drive now
And This, honestly the least reliable car I ever owned,:headbonk:
It blew the transmission at the Hockenheim ring on the first lap. Sold it to a guy there for 1500 euro and took the Train home
I kept my cars at work because of fences and armed guards, Benefits of being a Military contractor.
The Supra However was a star
The Lady in the car filming will soon become my wife, she drives this by the way, Also Right hand drive.
Disaster struck and I got laid off, had to sell the skyline, Supra blew the engine after 280,000 miles and I didn't have the money to fix it so parted it out.
I always said if an American company would build a turbo, RWD car with good looks and fuel economy, great handling, a good interior and a sub 30k price tag I would buy it.
I just got promoted to a management position in my new job and my only question is
Magnetic grey or Deep Impact Blue?, I cant decide!
