I picked up my '15 this past Saturday and took it to get tinted and then straight to my detailer. I am going to pick it up again tomorrow after work but my guy sent some teaser shots of the defect removal process so I thought I'd share with you how my car came with from the factory and the difference a good detail can make :)

Disclaimer: I specifically told my salesman to not wash the vehicle when he got it.

Very nice! Exactly what I'll be doing with my car. Don't let the "detailers" at the dealer touch the car, they will hack it up. I have a buffer, about 5 different pad sets (different cut levels), polish/cuts/finishing compounds and some good sealers. Then some waxes of course. I will be doing lots on work the first day on mine.

Your car is looking awesome, I was so close to getting your color, until I saw the Ruby in person. Definitely one of my favorites.

I didn't do it myself but I will be sure to ask him what products he used. He has car photographer come in and take pictures of some of the cars he works on and he asked to keep the car an extra day to get some extra photos so I didn't get to pick it up today. I will be sure to post some pictures of the completed car and whatever info he gives me about the products he used.

Here is his business FB page. He does a lot of really nice cars and they usually end up on there.

I'm not a fan of Blue but after that correction, it's mesmerizing.
Thanks!

I'm really looking forward to seeing the entire thing tomorrow.

He ended up using all CarPro products. CQuartz UK, Iron X, and CQuartz Leather.

The car turned out amazing as well. I should be able to get some more pictures up tomorrow.

IronX I just purchased, that's my FIRST wash! What pads and polish did he use to get out imperfections? Did he use a sealer? I'm no pro, but I do this myself and I've bought a bunch of things throughout the years, as mentioned before. Some pro tips would be greatly appreciated.

The CQuartz UK is the protective coating that he used for the paint itself, i'm not sure if that is the same as a sealant or not. He actually put three coats on my car and it does help bring out the vibrancy in the DIB.

DLUX Is what he used for all the plastic/rubber trim and my wheels as well.

I didn't ask about the pads. Jose is really friendly though and I'm sure if you sent him a message on FB or called the number on there he would be willing to tell you what he used on my car. He could probably point you to a few forums and or videos for you to check out too.

Sweet! Call me old fashioned and although I am a techie, I don't partake in social media. Im that guy that rather give you a call than text you :). Thanks for the info though.

That is a true detailer when he can see blemishes and fix them correctly. Not all detailers are created equal and it seems you have found yourself a great one. Congrats! Your car looks amazing.
