Bullitt Engine Pics - TT0018 at Atlanta

Forgive me if engine pics have already been posted. I don't remember seeing them anywhere. Sorry the pics are crooked, but I was shocked they let me in there and even more shocked they open the hood for me. I'll tell the story and post a few more pics on Monday when I'm on a real computer. I hate posting from my phone.

Here are my impressions.

The color looks better in person. I didn't HATE the wheels and calipers. I could probably live with them. The rear Bullitt emblem though looked a LOT worse in person. It's HUGE!! Big mistake Ford. That would be my first and probably only mod. I think I'd have to replace that panel before I even left the dealership. Anyone know if the '15-'17 panel will fit?

Is this the first underhood pics? I know they are the first I've seen.

No engine cover at all ... Thought there might be a clipped/cropped one like seen with the roush air boxes.

Agree on the emblem, a blank deck lid would be mod #1.

So it basically comes with the FPP 2 from the factory?

FRPP3 package GT350 manifold, TB and CAI.

I'm thinking it would have more than a 15hp bump then. I bet it's just the TB and CAI. The 18 already has a redesigned manifold...

Looks like a GT350 manifold and intake.

Did you get a chance to see how the open air element seals against the hood or where the relative position of the left hood vent is with respect to it?

Guess they left some hp and tq on the table then. Or that package isn't as much of an improvement on the 18+ engine:shrug:

It was already said there would be at least another 15hp over the GT's 460 rating.

Right, 475/420, which is 15 hp and 0 tq over the regular 5.0. based on that, the FRPP 3 is a waste of time and money for the 18+. $2k saved towards a Whipple!

For sure like the sn95 bullitts the best so far.

Those are really great photos. The Bullitt looks good in every aspect. Hooray for no engine cover. No engine cover means less weight and saves Ford money. I hope Ford will offer a rear seat delete option before production starts.
