If the leading zeros are any indication it will likely max out at 999,999.9

I think it stores the number of times the odometer has rolled over, too (every million miles). Which seems like an unnecessary use of memory.

Are you ready for this? I changed it and it didn't seem to make a visible difference. I changed it back to the baseline value (I'm going on a trip tomorrow morning and figured I'd set it back to base, so no surprises) and now the speedo, cruise and GPS now all align? WTF?
This is exactly where I am now using the OEM HEX value, never been modified. Speedo, Cruise and GPS all show different values.

Perhaps I'll try the Redraven571 repair method first.

After doing some research on F150 tire size options, finding VINs and pulling as-builts it looks like this is encoded the exact same way for those trucks.

I'm going to confirm on my buddy's F150 and then I'll probably post this up over there.

I think we found who caused the Y2K crisis.

Sound Location for Vehicle Chimes:
720-01-01 xxxx xxx4 xxxx (Forwarded to ACM / Vehicle Speakers - Default)
720-01-01 xxxx xxx0 xxxx (IPC Internal Speaker Only)

I find this interesting. Myself and others have had an issue with this setting switching on its own.

stoli everything good with the program? I double-horned today and remembered how much I hate that damn thing.

I just got my buddy's F150 speedo reading right with his huge tires. Going by the nominal value got it within 1% then we fine tuned it. I think I'll add a fine-tuner to my calculator tomorrow.

Same with our 2015 Edge...same values, same calculations. :)

If you want accuracy down to the tenth on the speedometer, you can enable a digital speedo in engineering mode.

Press and hold the ok button on the steering wheel as you are starting the car until you see ET at the bottom of the display, then release the ok button. You can scroll through the menus using up and down until you get to the screen with the speedometer in both MPH and km/h.

I turned that on once for shits and grins. I remember someone saying once that the MPH output wasn't quite right. Does it match up to what the needle indicates? And can you use cruise control while it's enabled?
