Looks nice !
I have calculated that a 9.8 mm spacer is needed to put your stock rear PP Wheels with 275 40-19 tires up front. This keeps the back side spacing at the designed distance from the strut.
BUT, I have seen many posts that indicate a 5 mm provides sufficient spacing, including the...
I have purchased several items from Levittown Ford and my questions/inquiries have always been answered quickly and accurately.
My first GT350 Track Pack Spoiler was "Spoiled" by the shipper.
I worked with Benny and Levittown Ford, sent some pictures and a replacement was sent promptly...
I believe you are correct. My concern is my grill without the triangular pockets means the Big Mouth may be too long meaning not enough space between grill and air box snout. Hopefully Velossatech will reply to my email inquiry.
I'm wondering if removing the air box snout then install the Big Mouth, re-install air box snout would provide enough clearance to finagle it in. The 50th Anniversary grill honey combs are already more open than other grill styles, but there are more that could be opened also. I can look...
Then it may work for me. I'm lacking the triangular pocket you refer to that the Big Mouth entrance nests in. (50th Anniversary grill) Sent email to @VelossaTech support. I'm wondering that lacking the triangular pocket may mean not having to remove the fascia to install.
I've looked at that, I'm interested and believe it would yield improvements. My problem is Velossatech indicates it is not compatible with the 50th Anniversary Grill. I perceive that lacking the triangular section in my grill where it fits would lead to that end of it just flopping around. I...
Stangman638 is use to contrary opinions as he says in his video.
I agree with many of his observations. With open top air boxes it is important to obtain a seal against the hood. Many designs are deficient in this effort INCLUDING the GT350 air box from Ford. The problem persists with the...
Correct again. That formula is the widely accepted approximation. Here's the caveat, the formula result inaccuracy is less than the typical variance dynos provide. That's why most do 3 dyno pulls and then quote the best result.
BMEP, agreed. We're definitely in the weeds now.
Agree here as well, they should fit. I've done some research in the forums here on Mustang6g and guys have been successful up to 10" +40 in the front. I've calculated +36.3 to be ideal for '15 => '17 Mustangs. The contact point of concern is tire sidewall to strut, which can be abated with a...
A good tune will always boost your power by unleashing what is held in reserve by Ford for reasons of engine wear, street manners, mpg, etc. If you go with a "Life Time Tune" such as Steeda, as you add power boosters one by one, headers, CAI, etc. you can upgrade your tune for no additional charge.
Just as @WildHorse says, heat soaking is an issue with all CAIs including stock. Aftermarket CAIs may loose their heat soak quicker but not by much if they do. The take away is anything you can do to reduce IATs is an improvement. Even a few degrees makes quite a difference especially with a...
The factory resonator is a muffler. Without it the mufflers at the back of the car now have to do all of the work to control the sound levels. For those guys concerned about sound levels, you might try just installing a H or X and leave the balance stock. Then decide if you want to go louder.
