Good for FORD not giving up.
After test driving a 2016 Camaro SS :hail:, it was very clear to me that the 6G Mustang will not be able to compete performance wise with it.
So good for Ford, they decided to bite the bullet on the 6G because it is and shall remain second place, and come back...
Higher revving engines are more enjoyable for open road and track driving. Torquier engines are more enjoyable for city everyday driving, IMO.
The Coyote certainly is very good for both applications.
Maybe there is a language barrier for YOU to work on this , since you only babble nonsense.
Here is an output chart for the two engines published in the same magazine.
And please don't be so lame as to say that the LT1 does not reach 6500 RPM and that is what you meant. That would be...
So, the better engine is obviusly the ONE that makes a better job and lasts longer.
Since their job is for a commercial muscle car, NOT profesional racing, and the LS1 is more powerfull at all RPMS, more efficient as fuel consumption goes and is smaller, it is obvious that it works better. But...
Only 7 psi of boost generate a lot of heat close to 50° C or so, combine that with higher compression engines and an Intercooler makes a lot of sense.
Besides intercoolers might cost 500 - 800 Dlls, not 3,000. The extra cost from years gone, is called Inflation.
Ugly P.O.S.
Talk about a company trying to live from the past. Who ever owns it should get new managment a.s.a.p. before this guys run it to the ground.
Ha, ha.
I know that for all out performance, they´re faster and more efficient. But I enjoy the 6 speed more, as explained. For the Mustang GT, I want enjoyment and do not care much about economy or track performance, it's already quite fast for the use I have.
And I do have a very goog idea...
