is bg ultraguard still considered the best gear oil?
it is only gl 5 certified
i found this stuff by torco that is gl-6 and it is cheap

z23 is a GG friction code. higher than factory ferodo. website says stable to 1200 degrees but i think that’s make believe. likely to get fried on track. great street pad though.
is the pad jammed in the caliper-not enough grease?
is the hub surface smooth and clean. if it was covered with rust and you put a new rotor over it without resurfacing, potentially the rotor is not turning perfectly straight

the answer was FR3Z2200G. i think this is only partially correct. it depends on if you have a manual or automatic transmission.
Manual trans PP uses brf 1566/ FR3Z2200G. this is a Peformance Friction Corporation pad with an EF...

1)gs1/r10 combo would likely be better than r10 only on the street. higher cof, quieter and less dusty

i respect and appreciate the input from the above members. certainly with brakes, caution is of paramount importance. however, i think my point is best illustrated with 2 simple questions:
1)would a gs1/r10 combo have better braking than an an r10 only setup on the street?

the r8 has a minimum temp of 75degrees. in the midwest freezing temperatures that wouldnt work well. the combo of gs1 and r 10 would give a reasonable mu from zero to 1500 degrees. no single pad on earth could cover that range. the friction curve of that combo would be an exaggerated bell curve...
for a mixed use brake pad there seems to be no good option. one possible solution would be to mix pads. for example, have the inner pad on one caliper be the gloc gs1 that is a street pad, and have the outer pad on the caliper be a gloc r8. potentially you would have the best of both worlds.
in the morning when the car is cold, my front camber is -1.7 degrees. when i get back from work when the car is warm, it is -1.5 degrees. this is repeatable. does anyone have an explanation for this?
