  1. Square setup wheels: 305 vs 315

Hi, For those who have a square setup wheel for the street/track.... Any reason not to go with rear size 315/30 and go 305/30 all 4? Wheels will be 19x11 ET 50. Is there a gotcha? This is for my R, most likely will do Pilot Sport 4S for all around town driving (maybe wet track day?), and keep...
  2. Driving to and from track with Sport cup 2's

Did anyone drive it home from track, and your car sounds like bad bearing after a track day ? I know it's the tires, but man, it sounded like both front wheels have bad bearings over 60 mph... I know I heard a bit on supersports before on my previous track pack, but these are a different level.
  3. 2019 GT350 CF dash

I see there is an option to add (for 500 bucks) when you configure a new GT350 the carbon fiber dash... Is that real CF or just a layer of imitating plastic. Anyone has it and can tell? I dig it and might buy it if I can find it for 500 bucks. Thanks

  5. GT350R TPMS sensors

Hi, For those who bought a set of spare wheels for the R, where did you get your tmps sensors from? I am reading contradictory information, that R and regular GT350 are similar, and that they are not on other sites (like LMR). I see Rockauto.com is selling 2 types , 433mhz and 315mhz.. which...
  6. Going square setup for street?

I am thinking of pulling the trigger on some wheels for street driving only; would there be any issue to go square setup? It is purely for longevity of the tires, so I can rotate; I would go 305/30 all around. Anyone has done it, and if yes, did you notice any major change in handling? Thanks
  7. Argh, damaged Carbon wheel on the inside...

Of course, as soon as I started driving around Boston roads in my R, I must have caught some rocks... now I have some nice stripes on the front left caliper, but most importantly, a 2" sized stripe on the inside ceramic protection of the wheel... I think it's completely stripped off. Should I...
  8. Storing GT350R in winter, what about the tires?

Hi all, For people living in climates with cold winters... This will be my first winter with the R, I am wondering what do you guys do with the sport cup 2's in very cold weather... Michelin says that they should not be kept at temperatures under 32F: It is recommended these types of tires be...
  9. What ramps are recommended for the R

What ramps can one use for oil changes and what note on the R? Anyone using the 72" race ramps 2 piece on the R? Seems to be the longest available... Thanks!
  10. Massachusetts WTB: GT350R car cover

I do believe the regular GT350 car cover does not fit the R, so I am looking for an R outdoor cover if you have for sale. Thanks
  11. Well I did it. I bought my R....

GR 192 is the chassis code... it's a 2016 with 2010 miles only; with electronics (what was that, 920A? ), so it has the big screen and GPS (I think?). Completely stock car, nothing added to it.. Owned by a mature guy, never even installed the front splitter :) Black with white stripes. Pics to...
  12. Buying an R with JLT intake ?

I found an R which looks awesome, and it has 5300 miles... But it has a JLT intake and headers and has been flashed (for the intake obviousy) ... I am really concerned about any and all warranty claims if that's the case. Car still has bumper to bumper to 2020... It also has mild rash on one...
  13. Anybody in CA knows this car?

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/773824935/overview/ I spoke to the dealer; not sure I buy the story: "Belonged to a rich guy who has quite a few cars, and he hasn't driven it much... he traded it back in for a Porsche 911 " ... It has an awful low amount of miles for the years, of...
  14. Upgrading to R, thoughts?

Hi, I would like to hear from anyone who is willing to share his thoughts (who has done it) on upgrading from a regular (track pack) GT350 to a GT350R. The car change bug has hit me again, and I can't think of anything better to upgrade to.. (short of my dream car F430 manual form.. which is...
  15. I know it's beaten to death, but camber plates vs bolts!

I see the bolts can give you the Ford recommended 1.5 degree of negative camber, right ? Does anyone track with the camber bolts? Obviously they are thinner than oem bolts, hence the concern of reliability on track... So if you do get that camber set to 1.5, would leaving it like that all the...
  16. Anyone upgraded front pillar tweeters?

If so, can you please post what the impedance of the stock tweeter is ? I see most of them for sale are 6ohm or less, which means it will sound much louder than the stock, assuming the stock is 8 ohm... which I read about in other forums.... I am thinking of upgrading but don't want to overdo...
  17. Interior footwell lighting

Hi all, My car does not seem to have any lights in the footwell... Or I can't see it. I have the dimming on max brightness, etc. Have I been dreaming, or this car DID have footwell lights, at least when you open the door and get into it ? I remember on my GT500 I was able to change the colors...
  18. Keeping car post warranty... extended warranty a must?

Hi all, Would you buy and extended Ford warranty if you would keep the car past expiration? Mine expires in May, and I am on the fence on what to do... Is there something cheaper and better than Ford's, or would you go with them as they will also fix the car if something happens. I never...
  19. Argh, dent in my fender...

Some bloody idiot smack the door in my fender... I think I know which car it was, but as I am not sure; not there when it happened, nothing I could do. I wish him or her arthritis for life, and may that hand that pushed the door hurt whenever the weather changes for hours. I had some other...
  20. Lower control arm movement

Hi, Is this kind of movement normal for the lower control arms? Is the bushing like a ball bearing style which allows coaxial movement but not longitudinal? I only owned german cars, which have rock solid busings, which do not move at all. By the way, this is the car lifted up, with wheel off...
