Finally got my Shelby back from the dealership this evening after pilot bearing/transmission rebuild.
Shake down cruise on the way home, most things great.
One problem that I noticed so far is that when the transmission is in 3rd gear the shifter moves about a 1/8 of an inch forward during acceleration and 1/8 of an inch back when I lift off the pedal.
Shifter doesn’t move at all when in first, second, fourth, fifth or sixth. My concern is it will get worse and pop out of gear when lifting off the accelerator.
Maybe transmission wasn’t shimmed properly when reassembled ?
They changed all of the bearings.

I had bad luck the ONLY time I ever had any warranty work on a trans. 1989 LX 5.0. Dealer rebuilt it twice before Ford said whoops and approved a new transmission, hopefully never to be touched by the dealer tech. But at least both rebuilds plus a new trans took less time that you've waited so far.

I like the rear ones. In the UK we have amber reflectors on the side but have seen a number if these advertised on well known Chinese sites. Are they permanently on or do you have them wired only for when main light or rear fogs on?

Lots of people had issues with the Chinese ones in the damp UK enviroment - go with a big / known make

OR (as I really didn't like the orange with lime), use red USDM sides as they are still a reflector, and retain the OE look / quality / branding :

I couldn't be bothered with the wiring, so I just plugged the bulb holder :

They tie in with the red rear reflectors quite well :

Yeah, no wiring on the UK - although I believe it's reasonably easy to do, and that there are holes (or grommets) in the boot floor above each side, ready for the USDM cars.

Fully understand on the orange / FJG thing

I've had no issue with the service / MOT thing and the red reflectors. In my own mind it's also why I was happy with the OE red lenses.

Get pulled = play dumb (easy), point out the OE Ford branding etc "yes officer, straight out the factory" ... lol

Was also just looking at those horrible Gen 7s as I thought I had seen they had different side reflectors and they are indeed red (also have clear at the front), so shouldn't be an issue with yours being red too

These lights are wired directly to the main switch for the park lights. These lights are sold by Diode Dynamics and can be purchased directly from them or from American Muscle and CJ Pony parts. Amazon sells the cheaper Chinese versions but I recommend staying away from those.
