At what point do you consider replacing your current Mustang with another one?

You are correct, lower production numbers than the 350. Both great cars in their own right. I really enjoyed the couple Mach’s I’ve driven. I’ve contemplated trading my GT for one but just can’t bring myself to do it. I just really like my car too much to let it go

I own a 2021 Mach 1 and wouldn't even think about selling it. Remember these Mach 1's are pretty rare, only around 15,000 sold in the 2 and a half year run. GT 350 is a special car because of the Voodoo but definitely not as rare as the Mach. I see GT350's all over the place but very very rarely do I see another Mach 1. I upgraded my interior with custom matt carbon fiber parts, feels pretty premium now.

I rarely see another 21-23 Mach 1. GT350 a bit more common but still infrequent.... The other day I was getting gas and an older guy grandfatherly type stops and compliments my Mach 1 and said that not everyone understands what the Mach 1 badge means. The old guy nailed it; heritage.

Borys at Ukie Carbon took care of me. They only do Mustangs so they really know their stuff. These are not overlay stick ons they are replacement parts. He replaces your original parts with carbon fiber ones. You get the original parts back in case you ever want to restore it. They can do the installation as well or ship the parts to you. They're located in Pennsylvania.

So, I am a car guy. I really like American performance vehicles.

Since 2018, I have had 3 Mustangs and for a brief period owned a Dodge Charger Scat Pack. I usually get the itch to try something different every 2 years or so. I currently own a '22 Mach 1 HP and thoroughly enjoy it. I have had it for a couple of years which is right about the point in time that I start looking around. But at this point nothing is really moving the needle for me. The Mach is pretty special. There is no new Ford manufactured GT350 or GT500. No new Camaro. Not a fan of the C8 Corvette. The current Charger is not even remotely appealing. And Toyota has yet to produce a supercharged Prius. (joke, I'm joking....).

My question is; at what point to you all (if you do) start considering another Mustang or other performance vehicle? Every few years? When your current vehicle starts having mechanical issues? When the warranty runs out? When you get bored with what you own? When you find a screaming deal on another Mustang?

My current is the 3rd Mustang we've owned (previous was a '66 and '71 Mach) and my last as I'm 73. I usually keep my cars until they begin to have major problems; my other car is a 14 year old Honda Fit and it still has all original major parts (cooling, electrical, suspension, etc.) I have spare parts for stuff one expects to fail eventually so downtime is minimal (brake parts, hub bearings, rotors, and maintenance items like filters, wiper blades, etc.) It's the most reliable and trouble-free car I've ever owned since being licensed at 15 years of age. I love that my GT A10 hasn't had any issues that others have written about (knock on wood).

You get attached to these cars. Especially when you get them right for the long term.

I can't attached to my cars and keep them a while. I aint that dude that has to have the latest and greatest just to be cool.
Other than maybe a C8(see those almost more than Mustangs,lol) or the new hotness BMW M's. I really don't like anything else. Let alone the prices of cars now.

My s550 will be my first and last mustang that I purchase considering I do not like the direction of styling and the ipad dashes for the new mustangs.

This is my first Mustang too and I can't think of anything I hate about it.

Its EXTREMELY expensive to trade up cars every 2 years and pay depreciation on new vehicles.

I still can't understand people that do this, but know several people that do it.

When it dies and isn't worth fixing. So at 38k miles on my 19 gt it will be awhile at 5kish miles a year

I'm doing 3k miles a year and just about to 50k. 2017 gt coupe and I'm with you on waiting till it's done. Just glad it's a V8 instead of a basic 4 cylinder.
