This is definitely a new one for me. I picked up a nail in my tire so I pulled the tire off and found this...

It broke right inside the driver-side mount. I bought front and rear bars new from Steeda in Oct of 2022. The car is my daily driver. Stock wheels, tires, suspension other than roll bars and poly mounts. It's never been tracked, just some spirited on-ramps.

I'm going to give them a shout tomorrow and see what they can do for me.

Is it the "competition" (thin) bar ? Yes, not mine but I've seen it at least once.

I ordered "555 1014 Steeda Mustang Adjustable Front and Rear Sway Bar With Endlinks". Not sure if they sent me the "Drag Race" or "Competition" bar, but I think/thought it should be the normal 1" rear bar.

Edit to Add: It's the standard 1" rear bar. I just looked... the drag bar only has one hole, so no adjustment. The competition bar has what appears to be adjustable billet locating brackets.

The one I have is just the normal blue ridge/ring (which appears to be where it broke).

We broke a heavy duty Hodgekis front sway bar on a BMW racecar a couple years ago. Same kind of design but snapped right in the center. It was warranted and we got a new bar.

That happened to me a few months ago. I think it broke when I was jacking up my car to work on something and I heard this loud snap. I thought I'd placed the jack in the wrong spot even though I made sure it was on the jacking rails so I readjusted the placement and proceeded to do the project. Some time later, I was removing the tire and I saw the bar broken. My dad being a welder, just inserted a piece of tube inside the sway bar and reattached the broken end. I reinstalled it and it's good to go so far. After that happened I bought another rear sway bar just in case... Should have called Steeda.
