How do the Ford Performance front and rear spring rates compare with OEM Mach 1 HP Spring Rates? OEM HP spring rates and roll rates seem pretty balanced on the street just wondering if the Ford Performance option is would be a better choice for track use?
Not sure what the FP springs are but here's some stock numbers... the base GT500 front springs that I just installed are 251 lbs.

Had it aligned today after the GT500 front spring and the IRS subframe support installations. Here's the alignment sheet. Everything is in spec, there's no front camber or caster adjustment and very minimal rear camber adjustment so I'm pretty happy that there's no more red on the alignment printout. I had them use the HP street values from the owner's manual supplement as targets but it didn't much matter for camber. I was a bit skeptical hearing that there's no factory adjustments but watched a Steeda video explaining alignments and they verified it.

The front has camber adjustment you just have to remove the set screws from the HP upper plates. The rear has camber adjustment on ALL S550's. The shop was ignorant or lazy-a lot only like to set toe.

Glad to see you are still hanging around! Quite a few of us OG’s have moved onto something else by now.
Moving to anything else is going to be quite expensive over this. I can't fit in any vette so that hype train is out for me.

Something considerably faster? Like Model 3 Performance? 😜 Blasphemy. I'll rather have and enjoy both, though only one is suitable for every day commuting. But the other one will last forever. S650 doesn't bring anything better in looks or power and there really is nothing better with a V8 that could be appealing to me. People who got rid of their Mach 1 didn't know what they want in the first place.

I couldn't agree more, the Mach 1 just ticks off all the boxes for me.

Ordered a GT350 wheel and returned my previously ordered GT350R wheel. After some consideration I felt Ford would have used the GT350 wheel in our cars, as the stitching matches our interior. With no red accents being anywhere else, I felt it would have clashed a bit, and looked out of place.

Hi All , to follow up on the Sonora Concours yesterday, it was a very nice setting on the grass in Anthem, about 100 Cars and Trucks , a mix of all genre Exotic, Classic , American Sports Car , Muscle , Off Road , JDM . We got there early and they setup our cars in a nice fashion . It did get a little warm , we were able to go across the street to have some lunch and a beverage. I didn't take enough pictures, first 6 to give an idea.
Today was the all Ford / Mercury show at Bell Ford in Phoenix , about 200 Cars , very nice show put on by the local West Valley Mustang Club and Bell Ford. I won 1 of 3 awards for the S550 Class , I am surprised as many GT500s , 350s , and 3 other Mach1 s . A few pictures of today .

I went to a benefit car show for a 9 year old boy named Landon Sunday. He is facing something no child should ever have to face... Out of all the cars there, he picked my car as his top pick for the whole show. And there were a LOT of NICE cars there.. I am honored I could brighten his day. His eyes lit up when he saw it and asked me to start it up. I did, then let him climb in and rev the guts out of it. He was grinning from ear to ear. :)

Ordered a Grade A takeoff GT350/R strut brace to match my Ford Performance sill plates. I would have gotten the kit from Ford, but I wanted the plaque that came factory on the 350/R. To buy that version new, it’s roughly $1,500 from Ford and $1,000 from other vendors. No thanks. When you can get the same brace with a different plaque from Ford Performance for $300 or so. I paid $250 for my takeoff.
