Add me to the list of messed up fittings . Dec 21 Mach 1 build. Add to that the steeda lines come with zero instructions and there’s no videos on line showing the install on a Brembo equipped S550 I could find. My installer does tons of performance work on GM cars but he had fits with the steeda kit and in less than 5 miles of me driving it home I have brake fluid leaking on all 4 corners. What a shit show.

Holy crap that’s a terrifying thing to happen, glad you caught it before it became a bigger issue

This sounds like you need to have a word with your shop. All 4 sides is highly unlikely that it was steeda's fault. Sounds to me like he cross threaded the crap out of the lines or just did not install them right!

Hope you get it figured out, definitely a scary thing to happen! :like:

Oh 100% this. I’m sure the shop is blaming Steeda but I don’t believe Steeda F’ed up all four lines. The shop is almost guaranteed at fault.

Got my @Optimum Performance lines checked yesterday at the shop. Mechanic repositioned the rears slightly. She also put a small zip tie on them to keep them from moving again. Said 3 of 4 were fine, just the left rear had migrated a bit.

Thought I'd bump this old old thread to vent and give others a heads up. I had the same issue as these guys. The only good line was the driver's front. I was able to get the rears on after a couple hours of cleaning up the threads. The front passenger line nut was totally f'd up. I tried to cut the line and replace the nut but that was a no go. The curvature of the front line doesn't allow for the nut to slide back far enough to use the flaring tool. Now I'm just waiting for a new hard line. That should be fun to fish through the engine compartment.
