According to http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/reviews/ford/mustang/coupe/costs/

Is that actually true of both the EB and GT?
I'd probably do every year on them both - or every 10k/11k miles. You've kinda gotta be wary, that as much as parkers maybe offering 'correct' information, they'll also be wanting to sell you a service schedule pack, or to keep some retained income from you...

However even that 24k miles is quite a bit, i'm used to yearly or 10k with any car i've owned, but i've never bought new before so don't know if it's different, i've also never bought a sports/performance/muscle (whatever category) car, so dunno if that's different too....

On collection yesterday I was told 12,500 or one year!

Will check the service book when I get home!

This is interesting, and my memory isn't the best so down quote me! But also remember hearing 24,000 miles - I have the EB.

Most long life oils etc say 25k miles etc. But I've always stuck to annual services on all my cars. Purely because spending money on fresh filters and oil can't do any damage to the car whereas dirty old stuff can.

always gone with an annual service on my previous cars and never done any harm. Will keep this tradition up when the GT arrives.

Would also like to know? Assume there is but might be dealership specific, Lookers ford always offer me a service pack (Birmingham to Sheffield isn't worth it for a service though )

It will be mileage OR time, not the time it takes to reach the mileage, unless that's sooner

Just so we're all clear on that. Once someone can stop driving around in their new toy, I'm sure they'll let us know the correct service interval from the manual ;)

I know, but i wont break 24k in 3 years, so will at least stop the whole 'MOT and service' being needed before the first after 3 years
