BTW - Ford give you 12 months rescue and recovery when you have the car serviced with them.
Shame they don't give you 24 months since the EB won't likely be serviced again in the next year.

When I bought a Civic Type R Honda gave you 3 years worth of rescue/recovery to match the warranty.

Stateside n believe the interval is 24,000 miles, over here it's definitely 10,000 miles. No idea why.
No service plans in place yet either, dealer reckons the EB service cost will be on par with the Focus RS.
You can download the US owners manual from Ford. I did, and it definitely isn't 24K. Unfortunately I did it yesterday at work so I can't remember the exact number (10 or 12.5 - a lot less than my 6 year old commuting BMW anyway).

" you should perform the oil change interval at six months or 5000 miles (8000 kilometers) from your last oil change. Never exceed one year or 10000 miles (16000 kilometers) between oil change intervals."

"Do not exceed one year or 10000 mi (16,000 km) between service intervals"

taken from the US owners manual

Is that different from the UK manual?

Are you sure as the Ford Service Portfolio booklet states 10K miles service interval for ALL engines.

Does anyone have a list of what is done at every years serivce? I am having a 3rd serivcce in a few weeks done by a specialist and wanted to provide my own bits.

Was looking at this: Does it seem reasonable? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-FORD-MUSTANG-5-0L-GT-2015-SERVICE-KIT-SV90/264495309870?_trkparms=ispr=1&hash=item3d9526242e:g:nKoAAOSwHwldtwfa&enc=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&checksum=264495309870510df12ae4a44b05867a83eb5aae0e99&enc=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&checksum=264495309870510df12ae4a44b05867a83eb5aae0e99

3rd should be oil/filters/ check plugs (replace if required) check pads and disks (replace if required) now to me I also like to change the brake fluid as after 2 + years you usually find its starting to degrade/getting water in it etc and the same with gearbox / diff fluid.

Cheers Hinch, I am getting new discs and pads as they are warped slightly - gone for DBA discs and stoptech pads. I was thinking of getting the brakefluid done as well

jwr also do a service pack works out a little cheaper than that ebay link i think, you probably won't need a new sump plug i'm still on my factory one after 3 years its not a crush washer based plug so see no reason to replace it.
internal cabin filter can be picked up for a couple of quid separately (ebay etc) or you may just be able to get away with taking the one out and giving it a vac depends how much you have your blowers on i guess, i've only just changed mine after 3 years as i rarely have blowers on and use the poor mans ac (i put the window down).
the main air filter you're cheaper in the long run buying a K&N drop in replacement filter they're like ÂŁ40 brand new and will last the life time of the vehicle.

Oil is oil put whatever you like in ford recommend and use a magnatec version but as long as what you buy meets the ford ws numbers then it doesn't matter I just use the magnatec stuff because i buy in bulk both my focus and mustang use the same stuff.

3 years in and I've only just had to change the plugs but that wasn't because I "needed" to but because I'm stepping to colder ones for boost otherwise i'd still be using the factory ones.

I looked at JEW but could not see a service pack with filters I dont think, they were also a bit more expensive. Do you have a Focus RS? The garage I am going specialise in these and was wondering if it was the same oil

Just checked JWR comes to 130 delivered as they charge 15 for delivery. This doesn't include any filters though

We use a crazy thin 5w20, I did half wonder about using 5w30. Ill only have 5k on my oil change when it goes in but figure it wont do any harm

google "italian tune up" :) basically put diesel oil in run it hard drain it and replace with normal, oil is oil as long as you're not wildly out of spec's it'll be fine, i'd never run anything as thin as a /20 as i tend to beat on my cars

this guy has some very interesting tests / explanations (including maths for nerds) regarding stuff like oil etc
