You guys will enjoy it. Install is super easy and I'm suprised how tighter it gets since it's shorter.

That's just the shifter. But I highly recommend getting the knob with the shifter.For $185 is it just the lever or is the knob included with the lever?
The knob is sold separately from the shifter itself.For $185 is it just the lever or is the knob included with the lever?
^^^this is true!That's just the shifter. But I highly recommend getting the knob with the shifter.
Our costs of materials and manufacturing have gone up and things had to change slightly in price. We were trying hard to avoid this but it had to be done.Why has the prices of the SSK and the shifter knob went up? The SSK is now 216 and the knob now 82.
Almost makes me want to just spend the extra $100 or so and get a MGW with the full assembly...so...
STS = 216
Knob = 82
Kit = 125 (refundable)
Plus shipping for everything...so close to $450-460 for a short throw shifter? now we get back 125 from shipping but that still leaves you have spent about $325 for the final product.
While I can understand where you're coming from, I'm not quite sure why you're including the cost of a knob when the full short throw shift assemblies for $470-$500 do not include a knob either. A knob does not have to be purchased as our shifter works with the stock knob. Our objective was to make an affordable and easy to install shifter at a fraction of the cost of the competition. The removal tool is a totally refundable deposit and the shifter is only $216. In our belief, it is a fantastic alternative.so...

Our shifter is $216 plus shipping, which would run you maybe $15 or so. That brings you to around $231 for everything. When a full assembly from a competitor is nearly $500 it's literally more than double; not just "$100 or so" away.Almost makes me want to just spend the extra $100 or so and get a MGW with the full assembly...

If you have any questions about ours, please let me know!
We currently don't offer our shifter in any variations of height. While we do not sell a knob for the Mustang that is "tall", there are many choices in the aftermarket. Our thread pitch is the exact same as OE.Boomba,
I am a local from Chicago, is it possible to get a little taller shifter? Somewhere between the stock and the short throw boomba? Even having a taller knob would help! Thanks!
Someone's on airWhat a difference! I installed this with Steeda Transmission Bushing.
