3700lbs+ vs sub 3200lbs,55-65k vs 200k+ (don't get these folks started on ADMs the RS is bringing). It's awesome for the cars to be mentioned in the same sentence, but two very different classes of cars. Although I'd love to see the voodoo motor in a pure race bred chassis

Is that a normal GT350 or an R? Either way not a fair comparison.
I agree. The new 911R that is coming out should be more realistic. It will have the GT3 motor, smaller tires, less weight, stick shift, and cheaper. Currently, the Cayman GT4 is probably the best competitor. That said, the GT3 is the car that Ford aspired to when they designed the GT350.

Well if he can fit in the Recaros then I'll not have a problem whatsoever lol.
Trust me, the seats in the RS do not need to be replaced with Recaros if the Carbon Fiber seats are optioned.

I can drive MY GT3 as a DD, and the RS is no different. They are pretty darn comfortable cars considering what they can do.

The gt3 was the benchmark for the R and I'm cool with that, but here you got one notch higher porsche (RS) and one notch lower shelby (non-R). 911 GTS is the best proxy for the non-R I would say, track-savy and higher power than run of the mill 911 but not completely focused on hardcore track duty.

I would probably have to agree with you on the GTS. Power wise, the RS and GT350 are similar, but that is about it. It does not make sense to compare a 200k track weapon to a 65k track prepped Mustang GT350.

Wow, closer to $400k than $300k even. The sales tax would be comparable to a Mustang price. Yeah probably a couple year old base GT would go for similar to the sales tax on that Porsche.

Yes. Just took delivery last week. Looks exactly like the one in the pic above in Lava Orange. It has the front lift system which raises the car about 30mm so you can make it up inclines easier and for loading on a trailer - you can see that it is raised in the pic below. It works very well and is not an extremely complex system. I wish they would add it as an option on the GT350. That way I would not have a problem upgrading to the R splitter and rear wing.
