Did you install a 170 tstat too? Lund turns the fans on sooner and you'll see higher iat temps until you get the properly match tstat.

Seal is looking really good, leaves an imprint in the hood liner, and not didn't do the t-stat... I drilled some holes in my grill for more airflow, I'll file them clean and more open to let more air In

Review of my setup. I have the no-tune(restrictor) version. Stock tune.

I was finally able to drive mine after the rains left.

Performance: Its possible there is a seat of the pants difference in power. It's not something I can say I feel without a doubt, although my butt dyno may not be calibrated :D. The true test will be my next trip to the track and see what mph it does. I am going to try to make it to my local 1/8th mile track tomorrow. Previous best mph was 89, with averages in the 88s.

Sound: It DOES sound good. With window down you can tell it's there. I have SW catback, so that is pretty loud also. I imagine with stock exhaust it would be very noticeable

** NOTE ** - When I installed the intake, I did not pull the battery cable(yeah I know... always do it). The car sat for 3 days before I could test drive it safely. First WOT pulls, the car felt like it was down on power/boggish.. if that's a word. It seems like the computer started to relearn and more power came.

I did the battery disconnect the next day, and this seemed to help. The car feels good, but the only "issue" I am having, and it could work itself out as the ECU relearns is during startup. The car used to start immediately, but now at random times(not every time), it will take that extra half sec extra turnover to fire up.

So far though I am loving the intake. It looks awesome, and hopefully the track numbers will tell the tale for my car at least.

** Edit - Forgot to mention IATs. Average 3-7ish over ambient while moving. If stopped/parked they will rise, as they should. They come down quick once you start moving again.

Finally got to go drive mine around, my inlet temps are seriously high, gotta figure out what's going on. I'm on average 15 degrees higher than ambient when driving. Guess I'll check to make sure the funnel is lined up properly heading to the grill. Might open the grill up too. Had to send some data logs to Lund tho, car was pulling quite a bit of negative knock

Negative knock means it's adding timing which is good.

I just installed the same thing -Steeda ProFlow CAI (no tune required) - and I agree with everything you said. But I love the product! And the car loves it too! I can tell.

Adding 10 degrees just seemed like quite a bit, 6th gear at high speeds car just sounds like it's sputtering

Got the intake installed, tune is flashing as I type this.

*edit*
Done.
Very pleased with steeda's tune and intake. The car pulls a lot harder now. Haven't been able to get on it too much because of traffic but so far so good.

Nice! Did the tune come preloaded with the package or you had to wait until they email you the tune?

Thanks,
Mustafa Ali

They emailed it after filling out their tune form. You have to send them your ecu swpn.

David - what's the model/size of the filter? I meant to measure it before I installed it but forgot to.
