Ford will step in for any other customer service issue. Service or warranty issues but they don't want to be involved in the sales process?

There are MANY threads re: adm that may fill in some of the data for you. Essentially the Car companies do NOT have any say over the Dealer networks at this time regarding pricing.

No, what you got was a canned response saying, "All dealerships are independent businesses, and under federal statutes we have no control over how these businesses price the products they sell."

There's a big differerence.

Exactly. Ford also knows as most of us do that this "limited supply" is a temporary phenomenon that occurs with virtually every new offering of this nature. The available units for sale quickly approximate the pool of willing, qualified, capable buyers and the entire issue evaporates until the next red hot item comes down the tube.

Who must first buy the car from Ford. Ford could stipulate No ADM, or No Car. Ergo, they don't care.
