Hold on a minute... I've been asked this so much, I have a pre-recorded replyIs that a legal plate??^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
First explanation: they're custom plates from https://www.platecreator.com made with the California Flag and state code in lieu of the EU symbol/country code and have the same plate number as my actual plates.
Now, to answer your question...
The short answer is that they are not. Per California code, I will need to display the state-issued plates on the front and rear.
The long answer... I do not have my state registration paperwork yet and technically I do not need to have plates on the car for 6 months after purchase (also known as the "Steve Jobs Loophole"). When I do get my paperwork, I will put the state-issued plates on the rear and the EU-style plate I will keep on hand for shows and photo shoots only. I will continue to use the euro-style plate on the front as I have for the past 7 years and 4 vehicles. The front plate in California is so rarely enforced (similar to tint on the front-side windows) that many people take it as an accepted risk (and by and large most locales won't bother you for it if you follow the universal "don't be a dick" policy)
Let me know the results please. I am having steering wheel wobble at all speeds. Not sure if it's a bad balance or not.Dropped him off at the dealership. I've been having some steering wheel, body wobble around the 40mph, 80mph + range. I had the wheels balanced and the car aligned after putting the new wheels on. There has been minimal driving since purchase, no rough or crazy driving. I bought the car in Feb, and only have 3300 miles on him. I wasn't sure if it was an engine or mechanical problem, or the wheels/tires. The dealership did say they would have to put stock wheels back on the car, and start there. Hopefully this is something that can be solved fairly easy without costing me. I would hate to have serious work done on the engine, but would welcome warranty work more than having to deal with new wheels/tires.
Nice! Let's see some more.Played with some pictures.
