It's interesting. I've heard several members on the forum discuss the impact of multiple people calling a dealership; which in turn caused a higher ADM. And, there is no doubt that ADMs are getting higher as cars are getting ready to (hopefully) ship.

While I'm not disagreeing, I have to say that my most recent research has shown that OTHER dealers are driving the higher ADMs of late. I've talked to several dealerships that are asking EXTREMELY high ADMs, and their reasoning is "other dealerships are calling and offering $XX,XXX above sticker for our car/allocation." Dealers now seem to be using the aforementioned dealer to dealer calls as a water mark for where the "market" is starting.

BTW - I'm happy to stop talking about ADM as soon as the first GT350s ship. If anything, it makes for good entertainment. :D

It's a lot like insider trading and the dealers taking advantage of everyone's impatience with the production delays. Dealers are using the same tactics buyers use to lower prices (XXX dealer is selling for this much), but this time in reverse since the buyers are in a a frenzy with no cars to actually be sold

There were $3-5k ADM's when I ordered my 2000 Cobra convertible that was never built. My order rolled over to a 2001 Cobra but I found a dealership local in Atlanta that honored MSRP. That car was a 32-33k back then. So at least 10% ADM 15-16 years ago.

Just can't get enuff!
Porsche dealers do it too... I have been shipping for a Cayman GT4 @ sticker and you should see/hear the shenanigans they do... all for a big ADM, especially since Porsche of North America frowns/prohibits that. They circumvent the system.

So as we see some Ford dealers also collude... no surprise due to the demand especially on the R.

Well if these delays keep up, I suspect some will cancel orders,
this could help end ADMS LOL

Actually don't you think this has been driving the ADM's all along? Dealers were telling me other dealers were offering $5K+ for their allocation way back when ordering started.

I talked with a dealer today and he thinks they will get their first 350 in next week . He said he would text me as soon as lt hits the ground. Just saying that's what I've been told and have my doubts.

And if it's not other dealers, it's wholesalers. This was just received:"We have wholesalers willing to pay $15,000 over MSRP, please let us know if you change your mind." They weren't the 1st to mention wholesalers or brokers either.

All American Ford. I bought my truck from them just cause they had what I wanted on the lot. Would not recommend them at all.
