We figured someone would do it! Lol. We offer the tool as an option which is why it is fully refundable. If someone wants to give it a go on their own, they are more than welcome!

I'm a really experienced tech who is handy with a drill and plan on doing it for some buddies of mine but unless your doing it that way then your guys' puller tool makes way more sense for the average installer for sure! Thanks again for an amazing shifter though boomba! Going to pick up a shifter for my daily ST from you guys soon too

Just an update guys. I posted in the new thread about the new Boomba Shifter Assembly Bracket that I'm testing out right now and so far I have only good things to report. It's the perfect complement to an already great product and should help fill that gap that some of you have been discussing between the different, more expensive, SSK brands.

Question to folks who are running this setup.

While going from the steering wheel, have you ever missed the shifter due to lower height?

How does it affect the cupholders when there is a drink in its place and you don't have enough clearence?

Does it really feel it reduced the shifting movement even though the gates are the same lenght?

Thank you.

1. No
2. I don't put food or drinks in my car so I can't answer this. But I wouldn't think it would be an issue. My arm is closer to the e-brake anyway. It would be an issue on my old 13 though. I couldn't even stand my phone up in the cup holder without it annoying me while I drive. But the shorter height 100% is a more comfortable arm position then stock.
3. Yes you can notice the reduced shifter feel. The height reduction makes it so. It's science or geometry or some shit we probably learned in school. Lol

I'm running the MGW, but it's roughly the same height.

Much more comfortable position.

No issues with drinks in the cup holders.

The boomba knob is great as well.

Not sure if the throw reductions are the same, but the reduced throw is great!

One suggestion to people installing this shifter vs a full replacement would be to also install a the white line/Steeda trans mount bushing and the Steeda shifter bushing. Should give you a much more solid feel for not much more money.

If cups bothered your before more than likely they will still bother you. It doesn't impede shifting at all though.

Throws feel shorter even though the the gates are the same length. Its not dramatic but noticeable. Also the shifter feels tighter since its shorter and you have less leverage when shifting. Also not dramatic but noticeable.

Combining this with my Blowfish bracket has made a great combo.

Yoo one of you guys have this? I talked to one of the other members about trying his MGW, but I'd probably be more inclined to do this, as it's a bit cheaper and easily installed.
If one of you doesn't mind, I'd appreciate to test it out as well, as I'm located in NW houston with you guys.
