Hey, I was just a conscript with a paid vacation to SE Asia. The question asked to me by a 'mariner stated ships as I remember. But here was his answer:

2 kinds: Submarines and Targets.

I have a GT. More weight in the front. Tracked it once this year on the road course. Prolly a couple times next season.

put the battery in the trunk and you'll equal out the weight. For a GT you may need the bigger brakes, but try a pad swap first, and worse case you can sell em to an eco performance pack owner and make your money back.
