Plasti-dipped my coolant tank
Yep. The most effective mod for the money, for sure. Makes that ugly coolant tank look right at home.

It wasn't mine but I was able to test drive a PP Premium GT a friend just bought. OMG what a difference from my 12.

The 3.73 gearing over my current 3.31 plus the IRS is just perfect. Shifter feel is much better as well as the Brembo brakes. Overall Ford knocked it out the park.

I want one so bad now. It was a great experience and I am really tempted to get one right now.

Only negative I have against the car is the clutch. It is super light compared to my current car. I felt like I was gonna put it through the floor.

Replaced my 5.0 emblems with some new sexy ones :D

Went through hell and back with 3M tape being too thick, glue, etc. Ended up making two runs to Pep Boys Auto without an emblem on the side ::headbonk:

Not sure how the alignment looks to everyone else, but I thought they came out well. The tape was slightly peeled back since the roush ones were a little bit bigger, so I had to sort of use my best judgement on placing them.
God your car is beautiful and sits nice! What springs are you on?

Thanks dude! I'm on Steeda Sport Springs. The 1" all around drop was perfect for me!

Got my car back. I missed her greatly!!! Got paint correction, XPEL front clear bra with partial hood, and CQuartz Finest. Here's a low quality cell phone pic but wow, so shiny and pretty.

That is a good idea to clean up that ugly tank. Looks much better black. Any issues with doing it? Was it a pain in the butt?

I guess its a good idea if you don't care to know if there is coolant in it

I am sure you can take the lid off and see if there is coolant in it.

You could always mask a 3/4" vertical strip leaving it unpainted as a visual coolant level sight gauge, maybe on the back.
