Two weeks ago we launched our new Turbo Kit for the 2013+ Ford Focus ST and we're currently working on 2013+ Fiesta ST and 2015+ Ecoboost Mustang turbo kits as we speak.
With that said, we are back on the TT 2015+ Development and the car is now ready to make it's debut in Bowling Green next weekend.
A word of thanks to Fathouse Fabrications for their time and energy, as we continue to R&D this kit to insure once released....it's a reliable package we can stand behind.
Justin Jordan (JUIC3D) has been dialing in the base mapping for the HP Tuners users on 91/93 octane, and will be offering custom tunes once this kit is officially released.
Precision Turbo shipped us the new Gen 2 CEA Ball-Bearing PTE6266 Turbo's first, so they are first up to be tested.
We are ONLY focusing on 91/93 octane mapping for now, but will be upgrading the fuel system to a Fore Innovations Triple Pump basket soon and pushing this kit on the factory motor on E85...
To say I'm pleased would be an understatement. On our power robbing 6R80 automatic transmission, the car laid down 721whp /639wtq @ 12 PSI on 93 octane.
We NEVER were able to get the car to knock, even the slightest, @ 12 PSI...so I feel very comfortable with the mapping as she sits.
Yes, we could have probably pushed it harder, but on pump gas on the factory bottom end, the room for error shrinks and 700+ whp through an automatic is going to be an insanely fun street car. (9 sec 1/4 mile territory!)
Overall, we picked up 360whp/288 wtq, effectively doubling the factory HP output on lowly 93 octane.
