Am I the only one who doesn't like the interior of the RCF? The seats are cool the rest seems like somewhat typical bland/unfocused design.
I agree. The seats and color contrast is nice but the center console is a little outdated. It has all the same features as a nice looking high end unit, but it just simply looks outdated. Does not match with the exterior of such a beautiful vehicle.

I would not say the RC interior is outdated. Lexus has one of the most modern looking interiors available in the luxury category. The RC interior is just more luxury based than the way an M series or Mustang would look.

The key behind Lexus is a car built to cross between luxury and performance

Yeah I didn't say the interior was out dated, I said the center console was. And I'll hold to that firmly. After sitting inside of an RCF, the center console was the only thing that was disappointing to me. Because in a world where luxury center consoles are now almost tablet sized and fully featured screens - having only an analog clock and a bunch of buttons, albeit nice feeling buttons, felt a little disappointing.

Interesting point of view. I haven't actually been in the RCF, but I have spent time in a friend's IS350, and IMO the Lexus interiors are some of the best out right now.

They definitely have a different vibe compared to the German interiors, but I think Lexus's take is much more interesting visually and ergonomically than what is coming out of Europe.

I've been inside a friend's GS350 FSport and I agree, Lexus currently has some of the most gorgeous interiors....for apparently every other model but the RC. Again, I don't believe the interior as a whole for the RCF is outdated - just the center console - more specifically the stereo/head unit. For 60k+ I personally think that could've been designed to be a little more....seamless, I guess is the word I'm looking for.

Just saw one today in what is the closest thing Lexus has to DIB, and it looks far better in the metal than in pics. Had the Lexus RCF not been near 3 times the cost of my ECO I probably would have gotten it but ford did really hit a home run in the price/value/performance equation with the S550.

The RCF is beautiful sheet metal. But I'd agree with the poster that said the interior looks outdated. It really does. The seats are nice. The door panels are ok. But that center console is old looking. The saving grace is the LFA inspired digital instrument cluster. But I was disappointed to see the hot rod RCF has the same interior as my GFs IS.

And for the price, I'd take a gt350 any day.

Looks ok in the pic.

But don't be blinded by bright red.

Or the seats.

Look at the center console.

It's old.

It's also found throughout the IS series.

Also go sit in one in person. Don't pay attention to the whole car. Everyone agrees the outside is nice. And some interior elements.

And I mentioned the instrument cluster being a saving grace already.

But that center console needs upgrading fast.

In person the s550 interior looks much nicer.

The IS and RCF interior isnt bad, but it's dated looking.

Compare it to the ATS, S550, and many other cars. It needs work. Esp in its price range.

That car is orange inside out. About the consol and knobs, switches etc, the lexus has its own style and its a little classic look. I do own a premium premier gtpp and had a chance to sit and test drive the lexus rcf. The quality, fit and finish, the interior look and feel are light year ahead of the stang.

Better than the Camaro by far.

But the s550 blows the Lexus interior out of the water.

I'll chLkenge anyone to focus on the center console of each and think the Lexus IS superior.

No way.

Sure it sounds crazy that a mustang has s better interior than a Lexus for crying out loud. But in this case, if your focus is the center console, which is what we've been talking about, you're blind if you don't think the Lexus is dated.

The gt you say you own... Which is questionable due to your Camaro love... It isn't an s550.

I'm with you, I love the exterior (saw one in person yesterday) but the interior looks... ugly to be honest... I'm sure the fit and finish is top notch, it just doesn't look good imo.
