Stop speaking in absolutes. Its subjective. I feel your Camaro is hideous, I feel the 6th gen is equally as ugly. Notice what I did there? Its opinion based, not factual. You're high.
This is exactly what I was talking about. Looks are almost always subjective. Numbers are hard to argue with.

This photo sings.......

Yeah...OK. Sure we know that. The 5th gen was by far the BEST looking muscle car over the last 5 years or so. And I think the 6th gen looks better also; in a league that's ABOVE the rest. Especially the vert - with the hard cover that will conceal the fabric when the tops down, nothing will look as good as that.

But I do agree that the excitement over the revving video is a bit silly.
"One of these cars...is not like the others....one of these cars just doesn't belong".....

Truth be told. It's a fine Car. It does belong with it's cousins. It simply does not look as good as the others. Ask anyone. Most will say that it is not as attractive.

I will say though, that the current mustangs headlight setup is much better than the older ones. For a long time, the mustang (to me) had a "deer in the headlights" look from the front. The newer ones have much more personality.

I have an uncle that's possibly the biggest GM fanboy I know, and even he thinks the '10-up Camaros are friggin' hideous.....

I wouldn't go that far, but they're definitely third in the current ponycar crop.

You do realize you just posted your comment on Mustang 6G and not your normal forum, Camaro 6G?

The Camaro looks like DOG SHIT. Now go back over to C6G and post your love for the Camaro.

Says the guy that bought a sticker package on a 45th anniversary car that's only been in actual production for 37 years.

The 5th Gen looked like Disney took Lightning McQueen seriously and decided to build a car. It's comical and oaf-like from many angles and outlandishly large to be really considered "Muscle".

Not sure if you are aware but, the "Musclecar" became extinct around 1974... It's a marketing term that was built off the Retro Era of automobiles.

Now the Camaro is stuck in this imaginary class of new vehicle...
Says the guy that traded up because someone ragged on his ecoboost at some meet. First camaro model year was 1967. 1967 & 45 = 2012

You forgot to subtract the 2003-2009 years. Can't have 45th anniversary Camaro until 2055. 2002 was only 35years production.

It was, sir. But the "45th" was meant to commemorate the number of years since the first car, not total production years. So in that aspect, there certainly can be a 45th.

Anniversary models are typically reserved for continious production... Say the Mustang and Corvette.

If everyone were to capitolize from that milestone, the T-Bird, Challenger and Charger would also be able to cash in.

First, it's a sticker package and secondly, they only had 37 years in production.

You're right, if everyone looked at it that way, other models could do the same thing. And I'd bet the t-bird would be one sweet package. Still doesn't mean it can't be done any other way, even if it does challenge "common standards".

The "look" war and people here and there saying how ugly is the other car is a non sense.

Looks like everybody thought the 5th Gen Camaro was ugly? I wonder why it outsold so badly the Mustang and the Charger.

Looks are subjective. But saying any of this car is "ugly" or "hideous" and taking this as a fact is ridiculous.

Might not be "your" taste, but it was like 500 000 individuals' taste...

Besides, tell your uncle that when your mother gives you a good education, you're supposed to say "i don't like it" and not "it's hideous". Cause you're not supposed to impose your views to the people talking with you

That's a basic rule

Example: don't say: the new mustang is a fcking ugly and looks like a Fusion coupe.
Say: i don't really like the fact the Fusion and mustang are sharing somehow similar lights and grille despite different proportions.
