Mine will be pretty much a mild bolt on car. I daily drive it and want to feel much better throttle response, low-mid range gain, etc. The stuff that makes it more fun to drive. I also make trips to the dragstrip, so I'd hope there would be a significant difference at WOT there as well. I've had several modified LSX cars and while there were huge differences at WOT, part throttle daily driving was quite the PITA to get dialed in by local tuners. I spent "real" money getting them tuned only to have to go back several times trying to get it "right". I also know that plenty of folks tune to the ragged edge or past when it comes to safe a/f just to brag about their numbers. I've read in several threads that Steeda is a more "conservative" tuner in trying to keep it safe while still providing significant gains. I've read plenty of great reviews and dyno numbers as well as track et gains from Lund and AED. Mine is a MT82, planning on a resonator delete, some kind of factory intake box mod, possibly a MAK high flow cat set up.
Or do I spend $350 for a local tuner like PCM or Fastlane to tune it? I guess I'm not a huge dyno tuning fan after my own experiences.
