If BMW can make a shit ton of M4's, certainly Ford can make even more GT350's if they wanted to. For whatever reason Ford wants these cars to remain somewhat exclusive and relatively rare. Could be future Cafe standards but who knows...

For those of us who have procured an allocation, doing this protects the resale value of these vehicles. Once I take delivery of mine, I'll be glad that they've done it this way. Until then I will cross my fingers that the agreement I have with my dealer, and the agreement Ford has with them will be honored.

I think you will be wrong on that. I think the GT350 will be easier to find based on production numbers. By this time next year you can go on a lot and order a 2017 or buy a 2016. Once they start getting delivered the cars will be easier to find.

Look at the 2013-14 GT500. That car had a ton of hype behind it as well. A year after they came out you could find them. I think the GT350 will be the same way. It doesn't seem like that now but eventually once the hype wears off it will be the same way.

Really? the same Hype?? I do not think so...not even close....your telling me that nearly all the GT500 cars the dealers had were sold out before the car hit the lots? no way this car has more hype before its release than all the FORD SE cars in the last 5 years combined..:headbang: IMO

^^ your missing the point that this car (GT350) is getting cross shopping from Porsche, Nissan, Chevy, BMW.....the GT500 did not get this market looking at it like the GT350 does....

Exactly!

That is how it always, always works. Ford slammed out so many GT500s the first year they ended up putting 0% financing on them in the summer of '07.
