People forget, when any car company releases a new car, they want as low
a starting price as low as they can get. As all the Magazines will test this car, the base
price will be quoted 1000's of times. Right or wrong this was part of the decision by Ford.
Year two has less fan fare and they can raise the price with little to no repercussions
in the media world. I think those on Forums and Ford might realize now it was a mistake
to not put coolers on all the cars. Ford is fixing is for 2017 you can bet the price will
reflect this. They are also building an after market fix for those who will track cars.
I don't think this will affect the value now or in the future of these cars.
Hopefully soon all we will be talking about is just how much fun our cars are

IMO Ford should have used the 2017 option packages from the beginning, but at least they are working on a solution (plus some other cool stuff), so hopefully everyone will feel satisfied by this time next year.

:amen: I'm pretty confident it came down to pricing. Ford probably wanted the lowest possible MSRP at first.
