So I pulled this fuse like some have suggested to turn off all the nannies. It seems to work I took my car down to a wide open parking lot and let her loose and there was much more smoke than usual. Does this cause any draw backs with the braking system if I prefer the nannies off? I seem to remember reading that something about tire height and the brakes activating:shrug:. Just wondering if anyone else has removed theirs for more than just dyno pulls but actual track time.

What exactly is fuse #62. I might have to look through the book tomorrow to see what that fuse is and controls

cant you just hold the traction control button for 5 seconds?
That helps but it doesn't completely turn off all the traction control and torque management systems. One of the vendors said they pull the fuse to dyno cars so they ensure there is no interference from the nannies.

What is #62 fuse formally called in the Manuel? Would it be " anti-brake run-start switch"?

Pull fuse 62 for the dyno only. A double tap into sport mode will disable it enough to have some fun but save your azz so you don't end up another Mustang meme or video on you tube. Also holding it down for 5 seconds disables enough to get even seasoned drivers into trouble if not careful. You are not gaining any advantage by pulling the fuse from holding in the trac off button on the street. There is even debate about the necessity on the dyno. I only do it so I don't forget to turn the trac off before a dyno run.

when I dyno'd my car, we just unplugged the plug by the intake. It disabled the abs sensors. didn't have to pull any fuse.

No debate here. My car has been on the rollers three separate times and each time I've had to pull the fuse or the hp/tq numbers drop dramatically after the first pull.

So looking to do a dyno pass this coming Tuesday. I knew that fuse 62 is the one to pull but now looking at my fuse box I'm a bit confused, this is the cover

According to cover, fuse 62 is this little 5amp fella here

But according to a picture posted in another thread, this one is the one to pull (circled at the top right) but that's number 5 according to cover

Man idk what's wrong but I don't think my links are working. I guess to make it simpler, my cover says fuse 62 is a 5amp little fuse closer to the front of the car. Picture posted by another member (pointing at it with his finger) shows it to be a larger 50amp fuse towards the back driver's side of the fuse box. Car is an auto 2015.

That's never happened to me before while posting links.

Great, it seems like they now want payment for hosting pics. Lol

If you have ACC, you will lose all cruise control when you pull that fuse.

So, when the dash reads "AdvanceTrac Disabled", it's not?

You sure about that?

I'm to understand holding the TC button 5-7 seconds, until "AdvanceTrac Disabled", shuts everything off. I've also read that the issue with dynoing the car, is that the front wheels stay still, while the rear wheels spin to oblivion, so pulling #62 is necessary.

even when you turn advanced trac off by holding the traction control button, the nannies are still there, you can do a burnout, no prob
but if you bust a whole bunch of donuts the cars nannies kick in and kill the power
