I like it. The front end looks more up to date and I especially like the hood with the vents. Side profile looks decent as well. The one thing I think I envy over my mustang are the gauges. I don't like the factory gauges on the 15 mustang. The plastic trim is so cheap looking and feeling and the deep bezel obscures my vision. I do also like the flat bottom steering wheel.

outside seems like a camry, 240, and a corvette had a 3some...

the inside while nicer looks like they all got drunk and one guy was high and just started slapping shit together...

either way, s550 still looks better imo... especially the ass... the ass is just so nice on the mustang

That is a nice color blue for sure.

But that rear end. Fugly and sedan-ish. And why not show it with some gunmetal wheels those silver wheels are so light they almost look white. Yuck.

I think the GM crowd is going to be in for a shock when they see pricing though.

Anyone else think that is a weird spot for the gas door? And the side marker lights on the wheel arches look cheap imho.

Wonder what the interior materials are like? A lot of questions still out there.

Ha ha, my wife teases me because I tell her the ass is the nicest part of the car. She tells me I should put a thong on it.

I had also heard many GM fanboys claiming there would be a 400+ lbs weight loss....mind you this was several months ago.

Anyways, I might be alone on this one but based on the preliminary pictures I actually prefer the exterior of the 5th gen Camaro. Far more muscular and aggressive looking IMO.

My previous post appears to have been deleted by the forum "move". It was originally was a rant, but I'll keep it short. The Mustang continues to be an unmolested design by FoMoCo. All the other NA manufacturers designers continue to "steal each other's work" when it comes to design teams, hell, even the Jeep Cherokee resembles a Charger to a degree (tail lights). That said, Chevy is just as guilty. The pony car should be unique to all the others in the fleet offerings. Ford maintains that concept. Look at the 2016 Camaro and the 2014 Impala by comparison... I don't want my muscle car to resemble the seniors discount four-door next to me at the lights if I was rocking the Camaro.

Wow that interior! I'm actually jealous.

I don't like the exterior. Still a massive, overly boxy car.

But if I was buying a car in 2016 it'd give this Camaro a serious consideration.

It's nicer. But my biggest problem with it?

If an average non-car guy sees one going down the street, they'll thnk t's the same car as the previous generation.

The interior is where it should have been 5 years ago at this point. So the exterior/interior doesn't impress me one bit. And no, I'm not a biased Mustang/Ford fanboy either, just an honest opinion.

The real questions is how does this thing perform and ride. That's all I'm curious about at this point. Appearance-wise, yawn...looks identical to the same car that's been out since late 2009.

"I didn't know the Ford Fusion came as a Convertible!"

With the S197 you have a point. Now it shares the family face with some extra bit sticky taped onto it.

Agreed on the gas door. As far as the interior, I am not impressed at all. I honestly thought they were going to give the Mustang a run for its money but nope! There are some touches that I like but overall, not impressed.

I really like the interior..so far from a glance. It looks slightly better than the Mustang (which, I have)..Pictures can be deceiving though. +20HP is a plus too

Exterior on the other hand...Looks pretty much the same to me. Mustang is far ahead in that part

I'm curious to see the pricing though, that will make a huge difference IMO of what is the better choice.

Wow....just wow. Yesterday's pics made it look like a joke, but I'm loving the interior. Still not a fan of the back tho. And I'm surprised about the 450hp.
