It's a flat black hood wrap to keep the sun from shining off the hood and blinding the driver. Since it's a hood wrap you can always peel it off.

Myth. If that were the case, cars driven in professional settings would have it. It's just a cheap way to differentiate it from the regular 1SS. Nothing more.

Yeah I kinda agree. I'm not a huge fan of the matte black hood. I think adding a gloss black roof would have been a nice contrasting touch. I like that it's available on the Mustang.

Or a carbon roof like the M models have, but that would just add to the cost.

you can always remove it if you don't like it. I really think this car in hot red will look awesome with all the wrapped removed. Add a carbon fiber wrapped roof, spoiler and the from spoiler and you have yourself one bad ass looking ride..

Well I am in the market for a new used car. I wanted the 1le but lack of power is a no go for me. So back to my original decision of buying a big bad 14 gt500. Bigger is better.

Plenty. Much more demanding on a road course than a straight line. Get to experience more limits than you will ever get to experience in a straight line.

Get back at me when your going around a carousel at 115mph with the wheels slipping sideways and then hook up on an m curve trying not to spin a car out.

There is much more to a car than what can be accomplished in a straight line.
