it has an engine!
It is really nice being able to track your car and daily drive it comfortably.

I'd rather have push of a button convenience than having to crank on a adjustable setup.

I haven't driven the new SS with MRC but the difference between street and track mode in my brothers z06 is ridiculous.
coil overs can be adjusted in car from the driver seat. Edc just costs extra and isnt available for all coilovers.

I don't get the satin hood thing. Is it to look like you have a painted carbon fiber hood but you don't?
It's a flat black hood wrap to keep the sun from shining off the hood and blinding the driver. Since it's a hood wrap you can always peel it off.

Shame about the 15k ADM and the fact that the majority haven't shipped out, that's assuming you get a hold of one of the 500 annual units.

Whereas this will be just a box to tick.
Any of the GT350 versions attest to what im trying to get across. Please dont include ADM's, which have nothing to do with Ford. It is what it is.

What is getting tiring is everybody complaining that the camaro took parts from other vehicles in the GM lineup and then in other posts say I wonder when this component will trickle down to my gt. It is smart business. It brings forth amazing cars at great prices. What the hell is the problem with that? GM has developed a very high performing and award winning "parts bin". It would be stupid not to use it. People complaining about that are grasping for straws or don't understand business.

This is the best thing about the 1LE IMO
Without a doubt. Wait for the reviews to wax poetic about that eLSD. This would be my car of choice if I was buying new and had the budget. It sounds like an ideal OEM offering. If the price is right, Ford's got its hands full.

Al. O said yesterday they are trying to keep it at around 40k before the things like PDR and other add ons.

Hmm so I wonder how this will be bundled. Maybe a base 1LE will come with the more aggressive springs/sways/brakes/tires/eDIFF/exhaust, then you can add on the magnetic ride and PDR? Because there's no way everything sans PDR will come to 40k, that's only a 2k package.

It is supposed to have everything but PDR included in the package. I have trouble seeing how you can get all of this in a package for less than $5-6K. If they manage to do it for $5K or less it is a steal.

Perf Exhaust - $895
MRC - $1795
Brake Upgrade - Lets call it $1500 since you won't get the originals back.
Recaros - $2K upgrade generally
Wheels/Tires - At least $500 more than the oem
eDiff
HUD
etc.

If they can make this car MSRP for $45K or less then it is a serious deal.

Not a chance a SS 1LE is under 40. That would be a big F you to people who bought a 1SS with the dual mode exhaust and MRC.

Mid 40 is the price. I mean with 3k more you can buy a base 350

I would think the the 1LE competes more directly with the 350+TP which is more like $55K.

Well I am in the market for a new used car. I wanted the 1le but lack of power is a no go for me. So back to my original decision of buying a big bad 14 gt500. Bigger is better.
