The file is correct, as is the "cal" file.
However, that cal file isn't transferring all the data to some ECU's via the inTUNE.

Usually this has never been an issue with Ford. (only Dodge)
Since Dodge can have 3-10 variations of the ECU operation system/calibration for one model year. (some small changes, others drastic)

As stated, the root of the issue has been found.
Testing is going well.

And I an now going to the dyno, I swear. :)
Stop distracting me. ;)
I wonder if I reply, if you'll come back just to see the reply....... :)

Any updates on the beta tune?
Drives like a dream, silky smooth power numbers are in check for low boost, and 91 octane. (With knock sensors turned on, we noticed some people are turning them off in custom tunes)

Willing the bet email updates for current customers go out monday or tuesday.
And all systems moving forward from that date, will get that tune as well.

Have a great weekend all,:cheers:
I'm out!

I would not want the knock sensors turned off .. Asking for trouble if you got a bad tank of fuel ...:eyebulge:

I see nothing wrong with a "Canned tune" I hold a world record on a Canned Tune .. I have tried 100s of custom tunes and not one of them came close to my canned tune ..

The tune I used and still use today was built on the dyno and then track tested as well as drivability on the street .. over 300 dyno pulls and 150 passes down the 1/4 mile before we released the tune to the public , all this was done in less than a months time .. Not one single complaint in 3 years since the tune was released ..

There is no reason not to use a Canned tune if it was done correctly ..And if it is done right you would be wasting money and time getting a custom tune ...We have had a few guys think they could out tune what we have and break my record , well 3 years later I still hold the record ..

Like I said before I will wait a bit and let all this get sorted out before I order my HO kit .. I want a true plug and play system ..I don't want to spend hours on the dyno and 100s of passes on my car to get a good tune that I should have got from the very start ..

Name 50 of the custom Dyno tunes YOU used, hell, post the bills for Dyno time on the 50 separate Dyno sessions too. Less than half of what you claim.

I can wait.

I call total bullshit.

Stock Dyno numbers are so varied, proving that no motor makes the same power. So a generic tune is just that, generic. Not specifically for that motors needs.

World record for canned tune? What tires, fuel, gear changed. Weight, barometer, elevation etc

So you happen to be a better driver than the people who tried to beat your "record" who attempted this feat? What car were they driving? Same track, same day? Same weight?

"Out tune" what you have? Is that a real statement?

I've been drag racing since 93. Elbow deep in nmra, fun ford, wfc, Never heard of a guy calling tuners out canned tune vs the world.

All tunes are made on a Dyno, no one just starts changing shit and sells it to people, all tuners track test and drive them around before selling them. NO ONE is that stupid to do otherwise, and if they did, they are already out of business

So guys just had my Stage II Pro-charger installed today, everything sounds great and looks great but i don't know if maybe i was expecting a whole lot out of the box or if i have an issue? I don't feel like i gained much, maybe i'm not use to centrifugal but it feels like it pulls just as it did just with a whine/whistle now. Second, It feels like when i punch it (not even WOT) it "sputters" or "lags" (sorry I cant find the proper term) to get going, sorta like when its cold in the morning and it doesn't feel so right till it warms up, that issue. I'm sure 90% problem (worries) could be me and also need a tuner to get a hold of it. All im currently running on the car right now is a lethal resonator delete and a roush catback. This is not a post to bag procharger or anything of the sort! Was a GREAT put together kit and awesome customer service with any issue (which was bare non) So please any advice or help be great guys/gals. Be easy on me haha im not new to mustangs but new to Centrifugal.
Thanks All
Wow! That sucks the BIG ONE! I'd be seriously pissed off if I were you guys that are having this issue. Who, what and where is the supplier in all this? What do they have to say about the tune?

So for me, after reading your post and all of the others, here's what I've decided... I'm staying the heck away from Pro Charger Stage 2. I recommend others do the same until the Suppliers and Manufactures weigh in on this.

Right now it's a crap sandwich for you guy's. I feel for you guys.:headbonk:

This is such a double edged topic, new platform always has new issues but on the flip side everyone will say that stuff shouldn't be available if it wasn't 100% for every car, every situation. And then on the other side of that everyone would be crying if the parts were not available yesterday. So no one really wins........

It not an ideal situation to be sure, but did you actually read this thread? Procharger has been weighing in and it seems they have been hard at work over the past couple of days to fix this problem.

This will not drive me away from getting a PC STG 2, I´ll just wait until everything is smoothed out.

I think it is normal that there is a learning curve for any new platform, we have to be patient that´s all.

Yes Sir! I have now. In my defense, when I posted earlier this evening there was only two pages to the thread. There wasn't any response from the manufacturer at that time. When I just checked back in tonight, my post was on page 8.

You are correct. Procharger has weighed in accordingly as well as other with assistance. I'm glad for the OP and others that had an issue with the tune. My appologys if anyone was offended.

Wait, are you debating canned tunes for a bike vs. custom tunes for a car?

Those two things have no relation to each other other than they are both for motor powered vehicles.

Not debating anything , just saying a good tune is a good tune no matter where it came from ..Just because it came in an Email doesn't mean it's not a great tune.. With motorcycle ECU we deal with the same things as a car ECU , safety modes , traction control , wheelie control , Fueling maps , timing maps , ram air fueling at high speeds.. New bikes are just as complex as a cars ECU .. I think more so seeing that we are making 200+ HP out of 1000cc stock engines ..

To way overgeneralize-Essentially a canned tune might just happen to be the best tune for one car ... but to average it out, its probably just a "good" tune for the majority of cars.

The problem with a "canned" tune is that it is not vehicle specific ... which means that there is going to be a spectrum when it comes to results. You might be extremely lucky, and have a vehicle that the "canned" tune is essentially the same as the best custom tune available for it ... or you might fall on the opposite end of the spectrum. Its a one size fits all approach ... you might be lucky, and be making the most/most-reliable power possible ... or you might really be falling short of your cars potential.

* Im not saying Im buying into the guys record holding, greatest tune ever, blah blah blah - Im just saying that in a certain instance, someone might really be at their max.
