:eyebulge:On anther note, one of the other guys on here just installed his stage 2 kit the other day and he said it shredded belts and after about a mile he had some internal problems.
I have about 400 miles on my Stage 2 D1SC, no issues.:eyebulge:
That sounds terrible.
Do you remember where they posted what happened? Just curious to read the story. On anther note, one of the other guys on here just installed his stage 2 kit the other day and he said it shredded belts and after about a mile he had some internal problems.
When using an inTUNE.I can't wait to get mine installed but I am having trouble with the programmer. I have tried to update it 3 times and keep getting an error code. I have emailed Diablo sport but have not got any response.
Turned out to be an install error, customer is happy and down the road now.On anther note, one of the other guys on here just installed his stage 2 kit the other day and he said it shredded belts and after about a mile he had some internal problems.
The injectors and stock pump are pretty much done at 10psi or ~650rwhp.I might as well go ahead and change the pulley out and run 12 or so pounds of boost. Does anyone know if the injectors supplied with the kit will support that or will I have to upgrade the injectors and run a voltage booster on my fuel pump?
Woohoo!! Glad to hear it was all worked out.Turned out to be an install error, customer is happy and down the road now.
I'm having the same problem as you. I even tried using a different computer and it still doesn't want to update. It gets to the the preparing screen on the intune and stops there. I'm going to give Diablosport a call tomorrow and hopefully we can get it all figured out.:frusty::frusty:Trying to update the tuner was the first thing I did. The issue still isn't resolved and Diablo sport is not helping. I called yesterday and they said they would email me a couple of files. That didn't happen. I emailed them today and the guy that emailed me back said that all updates for Ford has been put out and that my tuner will automatically update. I tried again when I got home and still no luck. This is so frustrating. I was hoping to finally get to install this weekend but I don't think that's going to happen.
If it gets to that screen, you pretty much need to just let it do its thing.I'm having the same problem as you. I even tried using a different computer and it still doesn't want to update. Nope, they are different.ProChargerTech:
Is it the same caned tune used for your HO and Stage 2 kits?
The cars have active knock sensors, the tune will add a bit of power if the fuel octane allows it. (we do limit that though, for safety reasons)Are them both able to run at variable timing for different fuel octanes?
Correct, we have three tunes. Is there a different or third tune for the HO plus Stage 2 Intecooler setup?
