I can't wait to get mine installed but I am having trouble with the programmer. I have tried to update it 3 times and keep getting an error code. I have emailed Diablo sport but have not got any response. On anther note, one of the other guys on here just installed his stage 2 kit the other day and he said it shredded belts and after about a mile he had some internal problems. I'm not sure what they were but after hearing that I will probably have mine installed by a trained professional, and since I am going to have it installed I might as well go ahead and change the pulley out and run 12 or so pounds of boost. Does anyone know if the injectors supplied with the kit will support that or will I have to upgrade the injectors and run a voltage booster on my fuel pump?

Do you remember where they posted what happened? Just curious to read the story.

When using an inTUNE.
The first thing you have to do is plug it into a computer and update it.
(This is explained on the red sticker on the inTUNE box, and also in the Owners Manual for the inTUNE)

Sounds like this step was skipped, and is leading to your issues.

Since I am late to this reply, I will assume this got taken care of.

Turned out to be an install error, customer is happy and down the road now.

The injectors and stock pump are pretty much done at 10psi or ~650rwhp.
You will likely be well over that number, however not many people run 12psi on those cars on pump gas. (They use meth, e85, or race fuel) It will be best to talk to you tuner about your plans, and boost level.

ProChargerTech:

Is it the same caned tune used for your HO and Stage 2 kits?

Is this tune or are both tunes, able to run at variable timing angles for different fuel octanes?

Is there a different or third tune for the HO plus Stage 2 Intecooler setup?

:frusty::frusty:Trying to update the tuner was the first thing I did. The issue still isn't resolved and Diablo sport is not helping. I called yesterday and they said they would email me a couple of files. That didn't happen. I emailed them today and the guy that emailed me back said that all updates for Ford has been put out and that my tuner will automatically update. I tried again when I got home and still no luck. This is so frustrating. I was hoping to finally get to install this weekend but I don't think that's going to happen.

I'm having the same problem as you. I even tried using a different computer and it still doesn't want to update. It gets to the the preparing screen on the intune and stops there. I'm going to give Diablosport a call tomorrow and hopefully we can get it all figured out.

Update: Got mine all figured out and updated

If it gets to that screen, you pretty much need to just let it do its thing.

The updates can take FOREVER! Just depends on how large the file is.
I have seen them take 30 seconds, I have seen it take 2.5 hours or more.

Sounds like its working, just need to let the programmer do its thing.

This is why we put the tuning section first in the manual, so that people can do this step before taking the car apart. :)

Nope, they are different.

The cars have active knock sensors, the tune will add a bit of power if the fuel octane allows it. (we do limit that though, for safety reasons)

Is there a different or third tune for the HO plus Stage 2 Intecooler setup?
Correct, we have three tunes.
