Has anybody with a PP or LE dashboard experienced any bubbling? My limited edition keeps surprising me everyday with problems. Lately I noticed there's bubbling on the passenger side of the dash, and the driver side. Unfortunately it's hard to reproduce but managed to snag some pictures.

Try to protect your interior with a sun visor especially if you live in a really hot sunny state, but this shouldn't happen in a brand new car anyways maybe after 200,000 miles but not like this!

Update:

So I'm getting a new dashboard. Just want to thank you Ford for amazing Quality Control on a limited edition car that was supposedly given EXTRA QC. So, here's the list of issues I've or currently have: Paint imperfections on the roof, Chrome molding having gaps, bad Driveshaft, Dashboard bubbling on both drivers and passenger side, and Potential rear window fitment issue. Go figure, these problems on a non mass produced car.

:ford: ftw!!!!

Use the lemon law if your state has it

Unfortunately, I don't think that'll work. In CA the lemon law is clearly defined stating that, either your car is in the shop for over a month, or if you have an issue and it hasn't been fixed in 4 visits. :(

I am so appalled at this UNACCEPTABLE bs. The stupid ass original dealer I bought it at, refused to buy it back when I first had issues popping up, not too long after delivery. And speaking with a Customer Care Manager from Ford, she basically told me "Yeah, if you want to sue us under lemon law, go right ahead".

I question myself because I was/am planning to get the GT350. Am I so blinded by the love of Mustangs that I'd buy another Ford????

Give it some time, and DON'T SETTLE. KEEP BRINGING IT BACK until every single damn thing has been fixed. I'm sure you'll exceed 4 visits. Then use the CA lemon law.

My car has that bubbling issue on the front of the passenger side dash pad. I thought over time it would eventually work itself out, but it keeps coming back. Guess it's time to call the dealer.

My GT with the Premier trim has one bubble, on the drivers side dashboard. The EB without the PT, doesn't have any (yet)

Hey guys,

Let me know via PM about any issues your having with the Pony. If this is a widespread issue, I'd like to get it documented. Thanks!

I have a GT Vert with premier trim and have a bubble starting on the passenger side dash. If it persists I will have them look at it at the first service. So far not much else to complain about thankfully.

I would be at the dealership. Looks like an alien might pop out at any minute now.

Lol, IKR! It's hilariously sad. When I saw that, I was like WTF is going on, and why is this happening on the Limited Edition, which supposedly under went extra QC. Thankfully the dealer I took it to was cool about it. They took pics and sent it off to Ford Warranty to get approval. They approved it for a full dashboard replacement. I was worried that the new dash wouldn't' come with the cashmere stitching but apparently the part that was ordered is tied to my VIN, and includes the cashmere.

As of now, I'm just waiting to get the car back. I miss it though :(, really miss hearing my Corsa exhaust lol.

How did your repair go? Were there any new problems, scratches, damages, rattles, etc., caused by this repair? Mine goes in next week for the same thing.

This is a major repair as the whole dash and metal skeleton needs to be removed from the car.

If this bubble goes up & down due to the sun heating up the interior, it sounds like gas is trapped inside. Probably out gassing glue fumes. Too bad the material doesn't vent well enough. Maybe use a needle and let the trapped gas out, then press it down firmly again? Might be worth a try.
