Just need a quick yay or nay. Bout to do it unless someone says otherwise.
Use the pinch welds instead
Which is where I'm sure he wants to place the jack stands.
Doing this now! Thanks bud! Here is the pic posted by somebody else, I jacked up at these points one side at a time and set the jack stands at the rear factory pinch weld locations.
Enjoy your new exhaust...
Yeah that can work fine as well, but being in earthquake country and all, I prefer having my jack stands at the widest possible track, and that would be the factory pinch weld jack points.I am sure he will see the pinch welds as they run along the car's underbody and are quite visible. I have used the pinch welds on this vehicle using my Craftsman 3 ton jack and then applying jackstands adjacent to my jacking point near each wheel.
+1Jacking rails... Can't preach them enough. They will change your life, and how much you work on your car.
I am not telling anyone to do it but its been working for me with no issues. I use a piece of carpet and a wooden block on the jacking surface.Just need a quick yay or nay. Bout to do it unless someone says otherwise.
