My Mustang sits in the garage more then it's driven as I travel a good bit. I would like to buy 4 jack stands and a roller jack lift to do store it. Does anyone do this or have any pointers for me? I'm thinking I need no more than 2-ton jack stands. Also, is it possible to lift the front and rear up seperately, from the center, to slide the 2 front and 2 rear jack stands into place or would I have to do it 1 corner at a time? Also, see my sig for suspension components installed--currently lowered 1" so I hope that won't be a problem getting a roller jack underneath.

I have stored my 2015 on jack stands...but was told not to jack it so high that there is a air gap between the floor and the tires. The suspension would then be fully extended and bad for the shocks and springs. You need a slight amount of weight kept on the suspension. Also don't store on moist ground or bare concrete without a pad of impermeable material under the wheels. Rubber tends to wick moisture and that accelerates rubber breakdown. Unsealed concrete will absorb moisture from the ground and then to a tire that has been sitting on it for an extended period of time.
Addendum: I recently installed J&M jacking rails...perfect fit, welded inner tube walls to keep out moisture. But they don't extend to the rear wheel wells on the convertible because of the rear diagonal brace that is in the way. Now I don't have to worry about damaging the pinch welds when jacking.

Do yourself the worlds biggest favor and get some jacking rails. Can be on jack stands securely in a couple mins.

Yes, get jacking rails. You lift one side and then the other instead of front and back like you suggested.

I wouldn't want to store mine with the suspension hanging because of all the rubber joints. Those joints are all tightended down with the suspension loaded. With it hanging all the rubber will be in the stretched condition the whole time it hangs. I could be wrong, just my initial thought.

Screw the jack stands, buy some wheel ramps and store it on those.

That would pretty much defeat the purpose.

no. no reason to either. the car and the suspension was made sit on the ground. not hang in the air. some of these S550s sit on lots for months on months before sold.
