HUD Works!

Used HUD to avoid minor accident today. I got a text message alert and when I looked over to click Listen on the MFD the HUD went off to tell me that the guy in front had stepped firmly on his breaks. It worked great, but it scared the crap out of me. (Why didn't Ford add a button on the steering wheel to listen to text messages?)

Also ordered Redline Quicklift Elite hood strut kit (Polished Stainless Steel - HDGL25) from CJPonyParts.

Why didn't you just use voice commands? Push the voice button on steering wheel and say listen to message or can say read my message...Or were you joking about no button on the steering wheel?

Obviously I've used voice commands, but I couldn't figure out the right commands for texts. I should read the manual :(

They were super easy to install, took me about 15-20 minutes and that was simply to make sure I had proper alignment. No drilling and I love the look. I have had MRT Hood Struts before and have no complaints here.

Great shot! I used to live in Oceanside and loved cruising up and down the 101.

I like a few needed upgrades here and there where it is lacking... a few HP ugrades... but man I'm witnessing a lot of Mod Murders on this site. :lol: I think I'm just going to get out and drive in this 75 degree Oklahoma weather today.
