Build Week 2/2/15

Is Rachel on vacation 'this' week? I have not run across any messages from her in a while, but I never thought I'd be hearing that all of a sudden my car has an in production or some such thing TODAY. (Dealer said WOW, It shows going into production today. I think it meant being ordered for next week's production, but he was not sure what it meant either. Last week he told me it was scheduled for 2/23 build week, and should get it by 3/16 week. He said to call him late next week to see if it actually did build 2/2 week.

Well obviously he is not familiar with all of us nanosecond update OCD'ers! Next week is an eternity...

Me. Ordered 1/13/15 with priority 10. Dealership told me they had 4 allocations and he put it in as retail. VIN on 1/15/15 with a build date of 2/2/15. I have similar features as yours so I wonder if they batch the builds for "like" vehicles.

Yes, cowzrul. The ordered option content is one of the criteria for scheduling orders and is at the assembly plant's discretion.

I think I should be this build week, but Ford online says they don't know and all my dealer says is "February" with no specific week. I am waiting to hear back from Rachel when she gets back from vacation. Mine is also a birthday present to myself for the big 5-0, so I can wait until late March for delivery if I HAVE to.

I wish it was vacation, Cueball; I was training another team for the last two weeks and am happy to be back. :clap2:

The "build date" from Ford Serv. is not necessarily written in stone. When you get the blend date from the window sticker...then you'll have the exact date our cars are completed.

The blend date is the same build date that I see, ColoradoGT; it comes from the same source. I do say that it's an estimate because things can always change during the production process.

I saw the vehicle with VIN in COTUS since the 15th; however, now when I try to check the order, all I get is: "No matching vehicle found. Please verify your input and try again." Anyone else have this issue?

COTUS is still a work in progress, O-H-5-0, and is still under development. :shrug:

My "Method of Trans" is listed as Convoy. Does that mean it's being trucked instead of train?

I don't know but I'm also interested if anyone does know. Mine also is listed as Convoy.

Yes, convoy is truck not rail. Trains leave a shit load of rail dust all over them. I'm glad mine is also coming by truck.

Finally can see my Window Sticker, everything seems to be in order. EDD is 2/26/15 by Convoy. Cheers.

When & what will be my next step in COTUS?
My build date is 2/5/15 with an EDD of 2/22/15. I've downloaded my Window Sticker and COTUS is at the IN PRODUCTION stage. What's the next thing to change on COTUS andwhen should I expect it?

Takes a little over a day to actually build it. No idea when COTUS will update since their "In Production" seemingly has nothing to do with actually being in production.

I noticed the same mine when into production last Tuesday (and its still there) and according to the notes on it, "This can take a few days", but Cotus is in beta - so whatever.
