Over this winter I threw an ESS G3R on my gen 3. Since doing so, it’s developed this interesting popping coming from ONLY the driver side exhaust. Video attached. The car threw a couple misfire codes, specifically for 6 and 7. Took it to the shop that did the supercharger install and Spark plugs are good and relative compression test was good. The misfire readings were barely anything. But still.
Car has the ESS G3R kit, high flow catted long tubes, ID1050X injectors, opg, crank sprocket, ported boss 302, bullitt throttle body, vortech fuel pump booster, and I’m running NGK Ruthenium spark plugs. Only have ran Sunoco 94 in it since boosting it.
My shop is stumped. Sent a data log to my tuner and waiting to hear back from him, but what might I expect? Saw a couple threads on similar things like this but they were not very active, nor was the popping nearly as bad as mine.
