I'm getting the update on Monday, but I wouldn't doubt if I get an in-dash warning that says "High fuel temps/low fuel level detected. Pull over and shut the vehicle off. You have 15 seconds to comply." (Also said over the speakers in the Robocop, ED 209 voice). How is a fuel pump failure fixed with a software update?
Been contemplating this. If my interpretation is correct, that debris plugging the jet pump .017ā nozzle is causing the issue, then how could controls fix it? Well, itās pretty chintzy, but if they commanded higher fuel pressure all the time it would make a compromised venturi jet work better. Iād like to see an updated calibration if anyone wants to read it with an old version of hpt or any version of Pcmtec. How is a fuel pump failure fixed with a software update?
